Friendship is delicate as a glass, once broken it can be fixed but there will always be cracks. - Waqar Ahmed

Jerome holded the gun in his left hand, pressing his body against mine so I would move. His hazel eyes were cold, looking straight at mine, staying completely calm. This weird feeling filled me when I kept staring into his eyes. Even though I heard so many bad things about him, everyone that seems to know him regret having any relationship with him and can say only bad things about him, I still trust him. At least, at that moment. It was funny in some ways that Jerome could handle a situation like this, but freaks out when he sees a police car.

I didn't even hear when, I'm guessing, two men walked away, leaving us alone. Jerome moved away from, letting me breath again. When I was trying to put myself together, he checked if no one was in the room and then came back. Before he did, I quickly put on my shirt. I prefered not to be topless in front of him.

"Who was that? Why do you have a gun in such a place? No, wait, why do you even have a gun? Why are we here? Why won't you explain anything?" - Hannah was right. Jerome was full of secrets and probably also lies. I barely knew anything about him because he doesn't talk about himself. He's a big ass mystery that no one can solve. And yet, he's the only person that can help me.

Jerome rolled his eyes. He seemed annoyed with my questions, but he shouldn't be surprised that I'm confused and scared. It's really hard to trust a man with a freaking gun!

"We will talk about it later, ok? We have to go now."

Later, later. It's always later. He was mad when I needed time to think about our deal, which we didn't discuss yet because 'we will do it later', and he wants me to be patient now? This guy gets on my nerves like no one before.

"Change quickly and we will see each other at the door" he decided because that's what Jerome loves to do - to be the boss and the man. Pretty annoying, I have to say. But as he walked away and left me alone, I didn't have any other choice. I did what he nicely asked me to do and when I was done I walked towards the entrance to the swimming pool.

On my way I noticed my reflection in a tall mirror. I looked at myself, surprised how good I felt and looked in that swimming suit. It looked fancy and in some ways inappropriate for indoor water park for kids. I didn't have any other choice so I just went for it.

I exit the locker room and immediately saw Jerome talking to two people our age. I came towards them with a little smile on my face. I'm guessing they know what's going on with Quinn.

The girl had darker hair than me, almost black like night, and small brown eyes. Her hair was long and straight and her skin had olive tone. The guy next to her looked almost the same, but he had orange-blond hair. Both of their face features were sharp. Their noses, lips, eyes - everything looked almost like from a doll.

What I noticed as I stood next to Jerome that I was the only one in our little group that was wearing a swimming suit. The rest of them had regular cloths on them. The Orange Guy covered his mouth with hand, trying not to laugh. The girl just crossed her arms and looked at Jerome, like a mother looks at her child when they don't listen.
