jungkook had been pacing in his office.

he did stood outside the door of the meeting room where taehyung and his mother were at for about ten minutes or so but decided to finally head in inside his office.

it did got a bit awkward as his employees who were passing by were giving him glances as he was just literally standing there in the hallway.

he was definitely being paranoid as the clock ticks by. he even contemplated if he should ask the security to connect him to the cctv in the room. he wasn't planning to listen but maybe just to see and ensure taehyung was alright.

the dark haired male couldn't even be bothered by doing any work seeing he was already here as his focus was definitely elsewhere.

jungkook ended up sitting on his chair, transferring to the sofa, gazing over the view from his window and eventually ended up just pacing around.

after awhile, he decided to settle back down on his desk to take a look at the file about taehyung's mother that yoongi had sent including the ones he had already read before.

nothing was really interesting aside from the fact that she is still in debt due to her late husband's gambling.

funny how life seems to be doing karma at how she left taehyung to the doll shop to pay off a debt but she is still is in the same situation now.

he heard a knock on his door that had him closing the file, immediately standing up and dashed to the door definitely startling sunoo. the ceo hardly opens the door.

"is taehyung done?" jungkook asks. he had instructed jiyeon and sunoo to keep an eye on the meeting room and monitor.

"ah yes, young master taetae is looking for you. should i send them in here?" sunoo informs.

"miss kim minji is still here?"

"yes, she's still inside with young master taetae" the younger secretary says and he could definitely see the ceo wasn't pleased with the information.

"it's alright, i'll head on over" jungkook says.

"would you like me to prepare anything?"

"order one strawberry shake from downstairs for taehyung" jungkook says. "get also something for you and jiyeon"

"oh, right away" the surprised sunoo gives a bow.
"thank you, mister jeon" he adds.

having the young master taetae in the building definitely has its perks.

the dark haired male then heads to the meeting room where taehyung is, seeing jiyeon who seemed to have just served water and some snacks.

the secretary gave him a bow, opening the door for him which he gives his thanks with the tip of his head.

"jungkookie" taehyung's face lit up seeing his husband, walking over to him with the older quick to wrap him in his arms.

"everything alright?" jungkook murmurs and pressed a kiss on top of the younger's head before glancing warily over the woman who had also stood up upon his arrival.

"yeah" the brunette reassured. "she was about to leave but she wanted to talk to you too" he says, resting his head on the older's chest and glancing over his mother.

the dark haired male lightly raised his brow. as fas as he was concerned, the two of them don't have anything to talk about.

his brows only went up higher, dark eyes amused seeing the woman make a respectful bow towards him.
