taehyung sighs. he had been busy the past few days preparing for hansol's one month celebration.

he didn't have any problems so far and hopefully everything goes smoothly.

the issue he has on hand is not related to the party but instead is regarding his mother - minji.

he had received the same email from the property management of the condo regarding noise complaints and behavioral issues towards the building staff.

the brunette decided to finally call minji, the woman apologizing explaining she invited some friends over and promised she would be more careful.

although, the little promise didn't last long as it was only about a few days later that he received another email and even a call from the management regarding the same issue but was worse as minji even threatened them and saying things like they'll have them all fired as her son-in-law owns the building.

it was then that taehyung had decided to head over, unannounced to personally talk to minji.

as for jungkook, he isn't surprised at all. after his talk with jinwoo, he's suspecting that this is just one of minji's scheme in gaining their attention.

"taetae, it's so good to finally see you" minji exclaimed as she opened the door giving the brunette a hug but the younger only remained stiff.

she only gave jungkook a smile, not that the other minded but he's cautious seeing her all over taehyung.

"you had people over again?" the brunette instead asks with a frown on his lips as he looks at the state of the place.

there were still some packs of cigarettes, cans and bottles of beers, stains and all that. he also noticed that the woman did a little bit of decorating - his face, specifically his magazine covers and photoshoots all framed up.

it was clear how 'proud' minji is regarding taehyung's career status and success.

"sorry, you had to see the mess" minji exclaimed. "we ended quite late last night so i wasn't able to properly clean yet. if i knew you'd come, i should've woken up earlier to clean" she adds while picking up some garbage and putting them on a trash bag.

jungkook takes in the sight, eyes scanning and it's not settling well with him how minji decided to party and trash the area as if she owns the place. as far as everyone is concerned, she's free loading off of taehyung.

taehyung didn't reply as he instead went to open up the balcony doors to get some fresh air. the lingering stench of beer and cigarettes was actually something he didn't want to inhale any longer.

"oh, i did a bit of decorating. i got some of your pictures too and i showed them to my friends. they didn't believe me at first saying i edited the photos so i told them to search your name online 'kim taehyung', that's my son" minji shared, excitement laced in her voice as she continued to clean the trash and rearranged the frames.

taehyung frowns at this about to comment but minji speaks again. "would you like anything to drink? i have some apple juice and other leftover drinks from last night" the woman asks from the kitchen.

"water. we'll just have water" jungkook replied before taehyung could say anything else. "just stay here, my love. i'll go get it for you"

the dark haired male heads to the kitchen following minji eyeing more piles of trash bags and bottles of beer also piled up on the side.

"you should clean that up. my husband is not fond of the smell" he stated, grabbing the glass of water the older had poured.

minji only stares at jungkook for a brief moment before letting out a rather forced smile. "of course. i'm sorry you had to see all this" she says. "i'll bring them out now"
