"good morning, young master jeon taehyung. there's a woman here named kim minji and she's saying she's here to visit you. should we let her in?"

taehyung's eyes went wide hearing this at the intercom.

what was she doing here? if he remembers correctly, they didn't make any plans yet from their last conversation.

"you have a visitor, taetae?" hyeri asks as they all were at the kitchen preparing breakfast.

it was hyunbin who sensed that something felt off seeing the lack of response from the pregnant male.

and in the next second the name registered in his head - kim minji, taehyung's mother. he did hear about her from jungkook and most of it weren't pleasant.

"you don't have to let her in, she did come unannounced" hyunbin then speaks calmly as he took a sip of his coffee seeing how bothered taehyung seemed.

"oh, it's not that, appa..." taehyung says getting a bit anxious.

it's just that the visit was unexpected and he still wasn't comfortable in letting her in to his home. he didn't know why but he just doesn't or maybe simply because they didn't plan to meet today.

hyeri had subtly told the house staff to leave the kitchen seeing that the pregnant male now seemed stress and it's definitely the last thing that they want.

"i'll tell the security to wait" hyunbin informed and talks to the intercom.

"come seat here, taetae... what's bothering you?" hyeri asks softly once they were seated in the breakfast nook.

"she- kim minji, she's my mother... i'm not sure if jungkookie had mentioned but we've met and had been talking again..." taehyung informs with the older jeons nodding. "... i'm just not yet comfortable in letting her come here- oh, i also didn't know she was coming today... i'm sorry" the brunette adds in panic as the visit might've also surprised the two older jeons.

"what are you apologizing for, taetae. don't say sorry for such a thing" hyeri exclaims. "you don't want to meet her now?"

taehyung lightly bit his lip. "she... she might get upset if i don't let her in... i do want to meet her just... just not here" he mumbled with a small sigh.

hyeri thought for a moment. "should we go meet her at the park? there's covered seating areas there, right?"

"oh, you and appa don't need to go with me... i can just meet her myself" the brunette says in slight panic.

it was a sudden meeting after all and it's still early in the morning. they were all even in their pyjamas.

"it's alright, taetae, we'll accompany you" hyunbin utters and the brunette finds it hard to go against this.

well, he honestly would like the company too.

"okay, thank you, eomma and appa" the brunette mumbles with a smile.

"you should've dressed more warmly, lovely" hyeri exclaimed seeing the younger still in his pyjamas and just put on a brown coat. "it's quite chilly despite the sun out"
