taehyung had his eyes on the window, watching as the scene changes from the crowded streets and tall buildings to scenery of trees and an overlooking view of the city as they drove up to their residence.

they had just gotten back from his doctor's appointment- probably his last before giving birth and he is already scheduled for a c - section a few days from now.

the couple heads back to their residence to make sure everything back home is prepared plus they need to get some necessities, including the baby bag they had prepared prior to bring back with them to the penthouse.

the pregnant male is quiet throughout the car ride and up until they've reached their home, giving a smile greeting the house staff before heading up to the baby's room with jungkook following suit.

taehyung sighs as he felt his husband's wrap an arm around his waist and gently pressed a kiss on his head before turning him around to look at him.

"i'm sorry... i'm just nervous i guess" the brunette now mumbles and looks at the older. "i just... i mean it was already hard for me getting pregnant considering what my body went through... i-i just couldn't help but worry, w-what if something goes wrong, will the baby be okay, what if something happens to him-"

jungkook captures the brunette's lips, sealing it with a kiss.

he had already sensed his husband's stress ever since this morning, way before they even met with the doctor.

on a good note, the doctor said that there's nothing to worry and taehyung's body is healthy and good condition but it was the brunette himself having anxious thoughts.

taehyung looks up at jungkook with teary eyes as the older pulls away, smiling at him before leaning back once again to give a few more gentle pecks.

"i hope my kisses gives you some comfort, my love" jungkook mumbled and this now made the pregnant male to lightly chuckle as he sniffs and snuggles against the older's chest.

"always... thank you, jungkookie" the brunette's voice was small and muffled but the other heard him clearly and pressed a kiss on the top of his head.

the couple ended up staying home for the next few days, deciding to head back to the penthouse tomorrow which is three days before the scheduled cesarean section.

well, it was jungkook that decided to do so seeing how taehyung was getting anxious every now and then and that spending time in the baby room is actually distracting and calming him down.

they've also informed friends and family, everyone sending in comforting and excited messages.

taehyung's day mainly involved being cuddled up against jungkook, eating to satisfy his occasional cravings or walking around in the gardens as the doctor had advised to help him and his body relax.

although, some moments were in pain as he had been experiencing contractions more often. there was even a moment where he thought he needed to head to the hospital but apparently it was just false labor. the whole jeon residence in panic that time.

currently, the two has a mat sprawled out in the gardens, enjoying their lunch under the shade of a huge tree and soft breeze of the wind. it's rather quite a chilly day to be out but taehyung is liking the cool weather.

"ah, i remembered, you haven't told me about what happened back there at the burger place when jimin visited" the dark haired male states glancing at the pregnant male.
