Dipper and Mabel returned from Gravity Falls one week ago. School has started and their lives have returned to normal. Or as much as possible. Their parents have been fighting more, in which Dipper learns that was why they went to Gravity Falls. He couldn't tell Mabel, he couldn't break her heart.

The day they returned their Dad gave Dipper a phone, he didn't have one during the summer and his parents felt distant because of it.

"Dipper, I know the best person to put in you phone!" Mabel teased.

"Oh really, who?" Dipper asked.

"Pacifica... you said you gave her your number but instead she texted me. She deserves it!" Mabel stated.

"You're right, you never did tell me what she said," Dipper said.

"That's a secret!" Mabel teased a little more.

She had a harder time readjusting to life in Piedmont than Dipper. She had connected to the people of Gravity Falls, it wasn't just a vacation place for her, it was home.

Dipper had gained an eye for mysteries, after being in Gravity Falls, always looking around. But in this normal world there were no mysteries to find, or solve. It was distracting him. He couldn't focus in his classes or anything at all. He was looking around for clues he knew weren't there.

"Dipper I'm heading out for a walk!" Mabel called.

"Alright," he responded.

Mabel rushed through the door. She took turns and twists to end up in the forest. It was a pleasant forest. And with the speed she ran to get there you would think she would rush through it. But Grunkle Stan once said, "If you speed through your life, you wouldn't realize when the good times are, and how good they were until you lost em. I didn't, I rushed through my childhood years. They were the best I had until, well now! He he." She took it to heart and decided to walk through the forest, not slowly but slow enough to admire it.

"Huh? What's that?" Mabel questioned.

It was a glowing object, something that was weird, something, that felt like it came from Gravity Falls.
