Candy and Grenda went to the Mysty Shack to see if Soos and some others heard the news of Mabel's disappearance. They were also looking for help to find her.
They knocked on the Shack's door to no response. Grenda decided to punch the weak doorknob breaking it, allowing them to enter the Mystery Shack. They walked through the gift shop and the attractions to find no one.
"Uhhhh Soos?" Candy called, to no answer.
"We are here to talk about Mabel." Grenda announced, to still no answer.
They walked into the house portion of the Shack where again there was no one. It was like, they vanished.
Candy and Grenda split up, Grenda went upstairs to Mabel's old room and Candy looked around the Kitchen.
"Uhh Soos?" Grenda asked.
She was opening the door to the attic. Once it was open she saw a group of 6 people surrounding Soos, Melody, and Soos's grandmother. They turned their heads like owls to the back of them.
"Hello Grenda," They all said in unison.
"Aghhhhhhhh!" She screamed.
Candy heard the screams and bolted up the stairs to find no one there. Not a single soul.
"Grenda! What happened?" She panicked.
She looked anxiously around the room. She learned that Mabel went missing she wasn't going to let Grenda go missing to! She rushed down the stairs and checked every nook and cranny of the house. To no avail. Candy then decided to look outside for her and rushed to go out the door.
Then all the sudden she felt something pull her away from the door. It felt like hands. Candy tried to fight it but was dragged to the vending machine and inside some staircase.
"Help!" She screamed.
"Shhhhh, they will hear you!"
"What, Wendy?!"
"Yeah, now shhhh!"
"Who will hear me?"
"Them," Wendy said pointing through the vending machine at some people who looked like puppets more than people. Joints all attached, wooden, and strings leading to the roof of the shack.
"They've been here for a day. They took Soos, Melody, and Soos's Grandmother." Wendy told her.
"I think they took Wendy too," Candy cried.
"We'll help them. From what I've seen they hide out in the attic," Wendy whispered.
"Yeah but how can we beat them?" Candy asked.
"We're in an old science lab! Grab stuff and chuck it at them!" Wendy cheered.
"Wait, what?" Candy questioned.
