"What is that thing?!" Melody screamed.
"I don't know!" Candy yelled back.
Soos, Wendy, Candy, Grenda, and Melody ran around Soos's old new break room. A giant arm made of wood was above them. His head and body hidden in the forest. Huge hands with strong like vines where the puppets would dangle off. He moved his finger and the vines leached on to the couch.
"So uhh dudes, we were captured by this dude's fingers apparently, so what are we gonna do to it?" Soos questioned.
"I have a sword made of fire! I'll just chuck it at him," Wendy said.
"Uhhh, guys the couch is hitting me," Grenda stated.
"Hiyya!" Wendy screamed as she cut the vines off the couch.
The whole attic of the mystery shack was removed, they could see it sitting in the ground outside the shack, with no damage. Like it was out down gently.
Wendy jumped on to the tree arm. She plunged her sword into the arm causing a huge fire to spread through the tree. It blazed up the rest of the arm that was visible.
Wendy jumped from off the burning arm and landed back in the shack. Candy used the laser gun and fired at the vines on the other side. He couldn't connect to anything else without his hands now.
"Ughhhhh, NO, where is he!" The tree screamed in pain.
The fire was spreading quickly and the arm was burning, and with the sounds coming from the forest, probably the whole body. The arms were pulled back, and sounds of rusting in the forest rang out.
"Yay!" Grenda yelled.
"We did it guys!" Wendy exclaimed.
"Yeah dudes! Now I've just got to put the roof back on!" Soos cheered.
"No, we have to do something to find Mabel!" Candy cried.
"What happened to Mabel? She's just chilling in California dude."
"No, she's missing." Grenda cried.
"Yeah, she left to go to California, you were there when she got on the bus," Soos said.
"No Soos! She's missing in California! She's lost! Her parents can't find her! It was in the news!" Grenda cried as she grabbed the news paper from her pocket.
Soos read the headline.
-2 Kids Lost in Piedmont California-
With a picture of Mabel on the front.
"What..."
"Soos, we can help, come on, it's okay," Wendy said trying to calm him.
Soos began to breathe heavily, tears forming in his eyes. He fell on the floor, and just sat there on his knees.
"Soos, we can help," Melody comforted.
But Soos just stayed there.
"You're right. Yeah. We can help," Soos said, still breathing heavily.
At that moment, rain started falling. Messi g up the shack's interior. Wendy looked up, to see, the two wooden arms, damp and wet.
"I am done playing! Where is he?!" A voice bellowed.
"Who!?" Candy yelled.
"My, my, friend."
"That's not helping!" Grenda yelled.
"STANFORD PINES!"
"He's on a boating expedition in the arctic with his brother." Wendy said.
"Ok, well, why did he duplicate over the summer! There were two! One had his old personality, the smart observant one, and the other was stupid, arrogant, the opposite of himself."
"Well it was two separate people, and the dumb one took the identity of smart one for thirty years. Oh and Stanford never mentioned you to anyone!" Wendy stated.
"What? But I was, I was Steve. His friend, he named me. Sure I never showed my face, but over the thousands of years I've been here, he's the only one that tried to communicate with me."
"Well, nice to meet you Steve, can you put the roof back on the Shack? If you do we'll let you call Stanford," Wendy said.
"Ok."
The two arms stretched down and picked up the attic and roof. He placed it back on the shack.
Everyone went outside. Soos who was getting himself back together, took his phone and called Stan.
"Ugh hi Soos, what do you want?" Stan said on the other side.
He was on a boat in the Arctic, they were in icy waters and they could see ford in the back driving the boat.
"We are about to dock, can we do this later?" Stan said.
"No, we need to speak to Ford," Wendy told him.
"Fine, Stanford! Get over here! They need to talk to you!" Stan yelled.
"I'm busy Stanley!" He yelled back.
"I'll do it."
Stan walked over to where Stanford was he took the wheel of the ship and continued docking.
"You were lucky we are at this dock, it's got a good connection," Stanford said, "So what do you need?"
"Well, there's a tree guy here, he says his name is Steve and you named him," Soos said.
"What?! He spoke to you! Incredible! I was trying to communicate with him forever!"
"Stanford," Steve said.
"Steve, wow, why didn't you talk to me before!"
"I didn't know English, an ancient being such as myself needed to learn."
"Incredible! We'll have much to discuss when I return to Gravity Falls!" Ford cheered.
"Thank you, for everything Stanford. I will become the guardian of you and your family here in Gravity Falls. This shack shall never be harmed," Steve announced.
"That's great Steve! But I've got to go, sorry, goodbye everyone!" Stanford said before hanging up.
Steve's arms returned to the forest. In front of the shack stood Wendy, Soos, Candy, and Grenda. Melody decided to stay inside away from the tree monster.
"So, are we gonna help find Mabel now?" Grenda asked.
"Yup come on guys! We've got a long ride to Piedmont." Wendy said.
As she said that Candy got a call. It was from, Pacifica.
