"Ohhh de it's a little old me! Ohhh deeeeee it's a little old meeeeee! Who could ever say nooooo to meeeeee!" The television screen rung out.
It portrayed an old video of Gideon. Him dancing on stage in his tippy toes , blush all over his cheeks, in front of an huge audience. Almost the whole town had been to one of Gideon's performances, but that was before he was thrown in jail.
The Tent of Telepathy went bankrupt after his imprisonment. Bud Gleeful had only his car dealership to rely on. The townsfolk hated Gideon and the Tent was soon taken down.
But after all that, the Gleefuls had something to pay the bills, they might've lost their primary source of income, that had brought them to the rich life, but they could still make it by. Then the car dealership was destroyed during Weirdmaggedon. The Gleefuls, has no source of income.
They went broke, having to rely on old tapes of Gideon, just to pay for food. The rest of the money went to rebuilding the car dealership.
"It's a little old meeeeee!"
"THAT'S ENOUGH OLD MAN! ... hmmph, I mean, I don't really like that you keep using my image without my permission father!" Gideon yelled.
"I'm sorry Gideon, but we have to make it by somehow, and since you image was practically repaired after the event that should not be named, this is the only way," Bud told him.
"Ghost eyes, you got family in New York right?" Gideon asked, "So maybe you can take me and my family there so we don't have to suffer!"
"My that's brilliant Gideon! I'll contact you aunt Keppa, and we can move right down to Piedmont!" Bud said sarcastically.
"Wait really! Piedmont, Piedmont, Piedmont, MABEL! Mabel's in Piedmont!" Gideon cheered, "Let's go there!"
"We can't, we are to broke, and our entire family hates us because of your stunts Gideon, all except Trip, I was being sarcastic, Gideon," Bud said.
"Ghost eyes, take me outside," Gideon said in tears.
Ghost eyes took him outside and placed him on the stairs. Gideon sat there and stared out at the world. He was so close for his plan working. He was going to change, become better, then move out to where Mabel was. He memorized where she lived, looked at maps, Faaflu Earth, everything. He didn't care that it was creepy, all he wanted was, Mabel.
"Ghost Eyes, you can go back inside," Gideon cried.
Ghost Eyes left to back in, turning back and then crying. Lil' Gideon grew up and didn't need him anymore, or that's just what he thought.
Gideon got a nice view of the sun setting on the steps. It was beautiful sunset, and he thought it was the universes way to compensate for what it was doing to him.
"Mabel, my plan was perfect, but you always seem to slip away."
"She won't for any longer." A strange voice came from underneath the wooden stairs.
"Who's there?" Gideon asked shockingly.
"I am a shadow of Abaddon. A mere image of him. I am not physically here, yet," the shadow said.
"What do you have to do with Mabel?"
"She's missing in Piedmont, gone, lost, no one can find her. Some say she's... dead."
"No! No no no NO!" Gideon yelled.
"Calm down, she's, yours. A blue essence carved her mind, so one day, you'll be hers," it stated.
"What, y ok did something to her! I'm gonna kill you!" Gideon screamed.
"No no, but you see the only way for you to save her, is to, pick up this blue stone."
A blue light appeared in the distance. A gust of wind blowing through the trees, making and eery sound. Time seemed to stop for Gideon.
"She'll be saved, you'll have her forever," the shadow whispered.
Gideon walked over to the stone. A bright blue light shimmered across his face. He bent down the little distance he had to, and picked it up.
"Mabel's, in Santa Barbara, California, save her, this stone will help," Abaddons shadow said.
"For Mabel, I'll do anything!" Gideon yelled.
