Gravity Falls: It Never Ends

Mabel's Date

Today's was Mabel's first date with Trip. She was running around so fast and smiling so big her braces could fall off. She had a boyfriend, who asked her out! And he wasn't creepy like Gideon.

But that's what got her thinking, Gideon. Gideon Gleeful. Trip Gleeful. They had to be related. They had to know each other.

"I'm gonna ask him! It can't be that hard!" Mabel exclaimed, "But I should do it towards the middle of the date, so it isn't weird. I'm weird enough already!"

"Mabel! I've never seen you talk to yourself!" Dipper laughed.

"What uhh no! I was talking to you!" She defended.

"Sure sure, but I have video evidence! You better never mention about me talking to myself again!" Dipper laughed.

"Ughhh," Mabel whined as Dipper left.

Mabel continued to get ready, she put on her favorite sweater, her favorite shoes, her favorite headband, all of those were the most colorful ones she had. She raced through the door and out to Trashbin Diner. Which despite the name is pretty fancy.

When she arrived she saw Trip already at a both so she walked over to him. She saw him in his casual clothes a dark blue hoodie, that complimented his bright blond hair. His face was normally smug but here, he seemed, determined.

"Hey, Mabel!" Trip exclaimed, "How are you?"

"I'm great! I can't wait!" Mabel responded.

She sat down at the booth, the opposite side of him. Their conversations went from topic to topic, each other, Waddles, animals, and then family.

"Mabel I've got question." He asked.

"Yeah, what?"

"How can you, a lovable, funny, charming, person be not only related to Dipper, but be his twin!" Trip asked while laughing.

"What?!" Mabel answered enraged, "You have no right to dis my Brother, do you hear?!"

"I was joking, I promise! Look, I got it from this flirting book! I wanted you to like me! It said dis their siblings!" He mumbled.

"Oh, sorry about that, just got flashbacks."

"To when?"

"Ohh just a Valentine's Day when Dipper didn't get any. Yeah and then when was trapped in a bubble made to do anything I want, my lawyers brought it up when Dipper tried to free me to kill an evil triangle god." Mabel said, pretty calmly too.

"Ha ha, you're so funny." He said with a fake laugh.

"Now about your family, do you know anyone named Gideon Gleeful?" Mabel asked.

"Oh Gideon! In fact he's the one that got me into you. Don't tell him that. In fact don't tell him about this date either." Trip responded, "But yeah he's my cousin, lil' Gideon got all the attention and stuff."

"But he has white hair? You don't?" Mabel asked, puzzled.

"Neither do his parents, you really think that it's real?" Trip responded.

"No way!"

"Yes way!"

The date continued as a normal date would. They ate, talked, and had a good time. Mabel could feel that just maybe, Trip could be the one. But she would have to see Gideon at family gatherings, and that was a big set off. But she couldn't remember why she didn't like Gideon.

They walked out of the diner, hand in hand. They were both smiling at each other. Mabel took the book of flirtations from Trip and burned it right then and there, so he doesn't do anything stupid.

As they were walking back to Mabel's house, Trip was dropping her off, Trip noticed something in the distance. A strange outline, of a shadowy figure. It didn't look like a human.

"Uhh Mabel, we should go another way," Trip said.

"No, need Trip. For some reason, I feel safe going this way. Like something in me like something here." Mabel told him, awfully calm.

Then the shadow kept forward. A dark being enveloped the surrounding area. Including, Mabel and Trip.
