The tension around Highland High had reached a boiling point. Zioles, Kaito, and Mason had returned from their intense training with Master Takeda, feeling more prepared than ever to take on Leon and his gang. But as they soon learned, Leon had his own plans in motion, and those plans included some formidable new allies.

As the group walked to school, Elara caught up with them, her expression grim. "Leon’s made his move," she said, not wasting any time with pleasantries. "He’s brought in two fighters—dangerous ones—specifically to target Kaito and Mason."

Kaito and Mason exchanged looks of determination. "Who are they?" Kaito asked, already preparing himself mentally for the challenge.

Elara pulled out her phone and showed them pictures of two young men, both around their age, but with hardened expressions that spoke of their fighting prowess. "This is Taro," she pointed to the first picture, a tall, lean guy with cold eyes. "He’s a Taekwondo expert from Ridgeway High. His kicks are fast, and he’s known for his aggressive style. Leon’s sent him to take you down, Kaito."

Kaito nodded, a steely resolve in his gaze. "Then I’ll just have to be faster."

Elara then pointed to the second picture, a stockier figure with a calm but deadly demeanor. "And this is Akira, a Karate black belt. He’s methodical and doesn’t waste any movement. He’s coming after you, Mason."

Mason clenched his fists, his jaw set. "I’ve faced tough opponents before. I’m ready."

Zioles glanced between his friends, feeling a mix of concern and resolve. "What about Leon? What’s his plan?"

Elara looked at Zioles, her expression serious. "Leon’s still the biggest threat. He’s keeping his focus on you, Zioles. But he’s smart—he’s sending Taro and Akira after Kaito and Mason to isolate you, to weaken your team before facing you himself."

Zioles felt a surge of determination. "We won’t let that happen. We’ve trained for this. We’ll take them down, one by one."

Elara nodded, a hint of a smile on her lips. "Just remember, you’re stronger together. Don’t let them divide you."

The day passed with an air of unease hanging over the group. They knew the confrontation was coming, and it was only a matter of time before Leon made his move. As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, they steeled themselves for what was to come.

It happened faster than they expected. As they exited the school, the courtyard, usually bustling with students heading home, was eerily quiet. Standing in the middle of the open space were Taro and Akira, their expressions confident and menacing.

Taro, tall and lean, with sharp features and cold eyes, locked onto Kaito with a smirk. “You must be Kaito. I’ve been looking forward to this.”

Kaito stepped forward, his stance calm and confident. “Then let’s not waste any time.”

At the same moment, Akira, shorter but powerfully built, with an air of quiet menace, focused on Mason. “I’ve heard you’re strong,” he said in a low, even tone. “Let’s see if the rumors are true.”

Mason squared his shoulders, his eyes narrowing. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

Zioles watched as his friends prepared to face their new opponents, his heart pounding. He wanted to be there for them, to fight alongside them, but he knew he had his own battle to face. As if on cue, Leon emerged from the shadows, his presence alone sending a wave of tension through the air.

Leon’s gaze was locked onto Zioles, his expression unreadable. “It’s time we finished this, Zioles. You and me.”

Zioles stepped forward, his body tense but ready. “I’ve been waiting for this.”

The three battles began simultaneously, the air filled with the sounds of fierce combat. Kaito and Taro clashed with blinding speed, their Taekwondo techniques colliding in a whirlwind of kicks and strikes. Mason and Akira faced off in a brutal exchange of power and precision, each move calculated to outmaneuver the other.

Zioles, meanwhile, found himself alone with Leon, their fight beginning with a tense standoff. The two circled each other, each waiting for the other to make the first move. The anticipation was electric, the air thick with the promise of violence.

Leon was the first to strike, his movements fast and powerful, but Zioles was ready. He countered with a Muay Thai knee, forcing Leon to retreat momentarily. But Leon wasn’t fazed. He smirked, clearly enjoying the challenge.

“You’ve gotten stronger,” Leon remarked, his tone almost casual. “But strength alone won’t save you.”

Zioles narrowed his eyes, his focus unwavering. “We’ll see about that.”

The fight between them intensified, each blow exchanged with precision and intent. Zioles could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on him—this wasn’t just about him anymore. This was about his school, his friends, and everything they had worked for. He had to win, no matter what.

As the battles raged on, it became clear that this was just the beginning of a long and grueling conflict. Kaito and Mason were holding their own, but Taro and Akira were formidable opponents, pushing them to their limits. Zioles, too, was being tested in ways he hadn’t anticipated. Leon was more skilled, more dangerous than he had imagined.

But Zioles wasn’t alone. He could feel the strength of his friends, their determination, and their will to fight. And that gave him the resolve to keep going, to push through the pain and the doubt.

This was just the first chapter in their battle against Leon, but Zioles knew that with Kaito and Mason by his side, they had a fighting chance. The war for Highland High had begun, and there was no turning back now.
