Mei, still tipsy and disoriented from the evening's drinks, could barely process what was happening as she clung to the unknown guy on the motorcycle. The world around her was a blur of lights and motion, and the roar of the engine only added to her dizziness.

As the bike sped up, weaving through the narrow streets, Mei felt her stomach lurch. She groaned, her voice slurred. "I think...I might lose my soul...or my dinner...or both..."

The unknown guy clenched his jaw, clearly annoyed by her drunken rambling. "Just hold on," he muttered, his focus sharp as he expertly maneuvered the bike around tight corners, trying to shake off the bikers chasing them. The sound of engines revving behind them grew louder, but he didn't let it rattle him.

Mei, however, was far less composed. "Why...are they chasing us?" she managed to ask, her words barely audible over the wind whipping past them.

"Not the time for questions," he snapped, his irritation clear. But he kept his grip steady on the handlebars, expertly dodging obstacles and taking sharp turns with precision.

Mei's grip tightened around his waist, her head spinning. "I'm...gonna be sick..." she moaned, feeling the bile rise in her throat.

"Not on me, you're not," he shot back, though there was a hint of urgency in his voice now. He knew he needed to lose their pursuers fast—before things got any worse.

The bike swerved sharply, and Mei let out a small yelp, feeling her stomach flip. "I'm serious...I can't..."

But before she could finish her sentence, the guy pulled a daring move, sharply cutting through an alleyway and accelerating out onto a quieter street. The sudden change in direction threw off the bikers, and within moments, their angry shouts and the sound of engines faded into the distance.

Mei let out a relieved, albeit shaky, breath. "Did...did we lose them?"

The guy didn't answer immediately, his focus still on the road ahead. But as the adrenaline started to fade, he finally slowed the bike to a more manageable speed. They stopped at huge black gate surrounding tall, bricked borders "Yeah," he muttered, glancing back briefly to ensure they were truly alone. "For now."

Mei slumped against his back, the adrenaline and alcohol making her feel both relieved and utterly exhausted. "That was...insane..." as she went down the bike.

The unknown guy went down as well still unable to verify who this person is from the helmet when Mei tried to look from the black shade, she could see red ruby eyes piercing back at her. It felt familiar. Mei "do I know you?" squinting her eyes even more.

He now then revealed himself as he took off the helmet. Mei couldn't believe her eyes it was her Professor, Sylus.

Mei in disbelief she went to him carelessly still drunk and grabbed his cheeks with her hand, examining it like he wasn't real.

Sylus "you smell awfully drunk kitten" Mei backed off and poked his chest multiple times like she was pin pointing it "w-well I am...and I need to go home because i-i is in my limit already" she said frowningly still putting the puzzles together.

Sylus grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer "and why would you even think I would just let you go...kitten?" He said as he surprisingly pulled her in carrying her body on his shoulder.

Mei startled and said swaying her legs "hey! What do you think you're doing?!" She said as she tried to break free.

Sylus "those men will be haunting you down as they caught a glimpse of you...my advise is for you to stay for the night at my place to rest and get sober-"

Mei "I d-don't even know you!" She started smacking his back and punching it but Sylus just felt like he was getting hit by flowers than thorns.

Sylus then pushed a fancy button that has a small dashcam and that you can talk through it. Sylus "Luke? Kieran? I know you are there" Mei could just listen to them as she couldn't see what was happening.

Luke "heyyy boss~ it looks like you found yourself a plus one" Kieran "she looks like she was caught in you're trap or something boss" Sylus "she will be with us for the night...you know what to do"

Mei tapped Sylus's back and pleaded "please professor just let me go I won't be telling anyone I promise!"

Sylus "sweetie...there is no problem of telling anyone about what happened...the problem there is, is that you were with me on the run if I let you go now who knows they might find you ready to kidnap you or worse, kill you..."

Mei then thought about it and he was right, She wasn't in her usual self and that she might just get killed when he lets her go in the other hand aswell she is very exhausted and she might pass out any time. "Ok...fine..."

Sylus "do you want me to put you down?..." hearing no response Sylus already thought Mei had passed out, he smiles and carried on inside letting Luke and Kieran take care of everything.
