Mei woke up to the sound of her alarm, the gentle beeping pulling her out of a deep, peaceful sleep. She stretched, feeling unusually well-rested and content. As her eyes fluttered open, she instinctively glanced to the side where Sylus had slept the night before. However, as expected, there was no sign of him.

She wasn't surprised. She knew Sylus had morning classes to teach, and it was just like him to leave quietly without waking her. Still, the thought of him having been there brought a warm smile to her face.

With a lightness in her step, Mei got up and began her morning routine. As she brushed her teeth and got dressed, she found herself humming softly, her mind replaying the events of the previous night. The memories of Sylus's gentle teasing, his protective words, and the way he'd made her feel so cared for filled her with a quiet happiness.

By the time she was ready for her own classes, Mei felt a sense of optimism she hadn't experienced in a while. Whatever the day might bring, she felt ready to face it, buoyed by the lingering warmth of Sylus's presence.

As the day went on, Mei found herself with some free time before her next class. Deciding to make the most of it, she headed to the library to check out some folklore and literature books for her subject. To drown out the loud silence of the library, she put on her earphones and played her favorite song, Yorugaakeru, humming softly as she browsed the shelves.

As she picked through the books, one in particular caught her eye—a German book. Curious, she took it off the shelf and began to scan through its pages. Her interest piqued when she stumbled upon a passage about Mephistopheles "Mephistopheles is a demon that has been featured in folklore and literature for centuries. He is most well-known for his role in the Faust legend, where he appears as the demon who tempts Faust into selling his soul to the devil. Mephistopheles is often depicted as a cunning and manipulative character who enjoys playing tricks on mortals" Mei found it intriguing and decided to add the book to the small stack she was collecting.

After gathering a few more books, she found a seat in the library, surrounded by a few other students. She couldn't help but wonder if Sylus might be mentioned in any of the folklore books, so she took a quick glance through them. *Nothing* she sighed, a bit disappointed.

Her curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to try searching for information about Sylus online. At first, her search led to articles that mostly gushed about how hot he was and how he was the talk of the university. But then, something else caught her eye—a site that hinted at something darker. The article mentioned illegal weapons deals and suggested that Sylus might be involved, even mentioning an unknown place called N109 Zone.

Just as Mei started digging deeper, someone suddenly grabbed her phone. "H-hey!" she exclaimed, looking up to see Sylus standing there.

Sylus glanced at the phone, his expression unreadable. "I believe a library is meant for reading and studying, not for searching foolish information or... stalking," he said, looking back at her.

Mei leaned back, crossing her arms defensively. "This isn't stalking, Professor. It's called getting to know the person more...kind of thing..."Sylus handed back her phone, his tone firm as he replied, "We play by my rules when it comes to games. If you want information, ask me."

Mei pouted, her frustration bubbling up as she took the phone. "But whenever I ask you, you literally give me...vague answers," she muttered, searching for the right word.

Sylus's gaze softened just a bit, but he remained steadfast. "You'll have to learn to ask better questions Mei" he teased, though there was an underlying seriousness to his words.

Mei hesitated for a moment before proceeding to ask, "So... what is the N109 Zone?"

Sylus raised one eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "You're getting bolder, kitten. I don't know if I should like that."

Realizing what Sylus had just called her, Mei quickly glanced around to see if any of the students nearby had overheard. Her face flushed with embarrassment.

Sylus chuckled, leaning in close, his voice dropping to a quiet, seductive tone. "Should we take this somewhere else? My place, after class?"

Mei's cheeks turned an even deeper shade of red. "O-ok," she stammered, flustered.

Sylus smiled, clearly enjoying her reaction, he said before leaving "meet me later at the parking lot 5 pm."

As the final bell rang, students began to spill out of classrooms, many of them looking worn out after a long day of lectures and assignments. Mei, however, seemed to have a spring in her step, her thoughts focused on seeing Sylus again. She gathered her things and was about to head out when Ayako caught up to her.

"Mei!" Ayako called out, her voice tinged with exhaustion. "You look way too full of energy. How are you still standing after today? I'm completely wiped out."

Mei smiled, trying to keep her excitement under wraps. "I guess I just had a good day. The classes weren't too bad."

Ayako laughed softly, rubbing her temples. "You must have some secret energy reserve or something. I could barely keep my eyes open during that last lecture. Seriously, we should just go home and crash—unless you're up for some café time?"

Mei hesitated for a moment, her thoughts drifting to Sylus. "Actually, I can't today," she said, trying to sound casual. "I've got somewhere else to be."

Ayako raised an eyebrow, a teasing glint in her eyes. "Somewhere else to be? That's not like you. Are...you secretly dating someone?!, are you?"

Mei's cheeks warmed slightly, and she quickly shook her head. "No, it's nothing like that...I told you guys, I'm not looking for any relationship right now right?"

Ayako grinned "Uh-huh, sure. Well, whatever it is, I hope you have fun. Just don't overdo it with that mysterious energy of yours."

Mei laughed, feeling a bit relieved. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. You go get some rest, Ayako."

"Yeah, yeah," Ayako waved her off with a playful smile. "See you tomorrow Mei~ Mei~".

As Ayako turned to head home, Mei let out a small sigh of relief, glad she had managed to keep her excitement under wraps. With her heart still racing, she made her way to the parking lot, eager to find Sylus. When she spotted him, she saw him calmly putting on his gloves, adjusting his car's side mirror, looking as composed as ever.

Mei's heart skipped a beat as she caught sight of Sylus. She thought she should be used to it by now, but she couldn't help feeling shy around him. Sylus, noticing her from the side mirror, glanced."You're late," he said in his usual calm, authoritative tone.

Mei quickly checked the time on her phone. "Only 7 minutes late?" she replied, almost defensively.

"Still late," Sylus responded, his voice carrying that familiar, professor-like firmness that made Mei feel like a student again.

With a small huff, Mei grabbed the helmet, slipping it on as Sylus did the same. Once they were both settled, Sylus started the engine and smoothly drove them toward his place. The ride was filled with a mixture of excitement and nervousness for Mei, her thoughts racing just as fast as the bike beneath them.
