Another normal day in America for the strange pair of mortal enemies yet lovers. They were both sprawled out on sofas, Izaya scrolling through his phone whereas Shizuo flipped through a newspaper, glaring at it.
Within the next moments, he threw it roughly onto the table and sighed.
"English is so damn hard...''
Izaya looked up and responded easily,
"If you were smarter, I'm sure that you'd know reading a newspaper without knowing anything doesn't help.''
"Shut up.''
He shrugged and went back to his phone.
Shizuo sat there doing nothing for a while until he asked,
"How do you feel about me?''
Izaya didn't respond immediately, seeming to think it over.
"If you mean your sloppy attire and attitude, then I can't say I like it.''
The blonde glared at him from the other couch.
"I meant, me. You know what I mean.''
Why is this bastard so direct when I'm avoiding the topic....I'm not the type to confess my love 24/7 when the other party's serious...if it was taken lightly then maybe.
"You claim that you have an undying love for humans due to their feelings and actions, but do they include you and me?''
Since Izaya was blatantly not answering anything and trying to concentrate on his phone, Shizuo crept up to him. He used one arm to grab the arm with the phone, while the other slammed dangerously close to Izaya.
"I like you, you know. For a long time now. I've liked you alot.''
The black-haired man's ears turned red and he felt like they were on fire. He'd heard this from Shizu-chan several times now, but it still got him embarassed every time.
"You- you don't have to repeat it so often...''
"I just want to make sure my feelings get across.''
With every word, the blonde had slowly inched closer to the other man's face.
"What's your definite answer to me? That time in the hospital doesn't count.''
"......''
"Talk, flea.''
Rather pissed and flustered, Izaya let out,
"Why do I need to say things once I've told you already? If I told you I like you, then believe it and don't ask again, bastard!''
It was Shizuo's turn to stay quiet this time as he slowly brushed his hand against Izaya's face and let it stay there.
"I guess. Sorry.''
".......''
"Could I get a kiss...?''
"...since when did you become the type to ask about these things...?''
He said this almost with regret and leaned in.
The cell phone dropped as Izaya wrapped his arms around the bartender's broad back, tousling his hair.
*************************************************
It had started raining, but neither noticed as Shizuo thrust deeper, pushing his whole body foward on top of Izaya.
"Aah, ah...haa...nng...ah, ah-''
Shizuo smirked and said,
"You're really feeling it today.''
"Ah...shut up...''
Izaya grabbed for a pillow to muffle his moans until Shizuo threw it off him.
"Let it out.''
With those words, he rammed in harder.
"Ah! Shizu-chan...this...won't help anything...we're both guys, we're viewed as misfits...''
He was sobbing, which was almost a miracle.
"I know, Izaya. I'm the same. That's why...just stay with me, by my side, and I'll comfort you.''
It was the first kind of deep talk they had, and Izaya even ended up crying.
Was it just stress or fear, he didn't know why he'd become so emotional himself.
An hour later, Shizuo woke up to find Izaya staring outside.
"The rain stopped, huh?''
The shorter man leaned his body against his partner's.
"Yeah.''
