"...what the fuck...?"
Shinra stayed silent with an uncomfortable frown.
"Hey, Shinra. You better be telling the truth. Where is he exactly?"
"As I said before, America. In New York City. He found a certain job over there."
Shizuo stayed silent for a little while.
"Fuck this."
He walked out, furious for unknown reasons, but he couldn't stand the thought of not being able to see the flea. Shizuo spit his cigarette out and walked around Ikebukuro. This time, he didn't throw anything around, and Tom-san found him.
"Hey, Shizuo. Are you okay?"
"..."
Shizuo let out a shaky breath.
"...Izaya's in America."
Tom-san lifted his eyebrows.
"Woah...the famed informant has gone to America, huh."
Shizuo took out another cigar and started smoking it.
"So? What are you going to do about it? Run after him and search for him in America?"
"...I just might."
Tom-san looked at him knowingly.
''Don't doubt. Go. "
Shizuo gave Tom-san one of his familiar smirks.
"Thanks."
With these words, Shizuo ran off. In the next hour, he packed everything, but then forgot to buy a ticket. Having never bought a ticket before, he didn't realize that he had bought a ticket for tomorrow night.
"SHITTTTT."
Tomorrow night?! He wanted tonight! But he couldn't just spend money freely. Shizuo was just a bartender. Grumbling, Shizuo decided to wait until tomorrow.

Izaya arrived in America the next day. It was really tiring to travel from Japan to America.
"We're here, Izaya."
"Ah, yes. I'll head to the hotel on my own."
Talking in English wasn't a problem for the raven haired man.
Following his earlier statement, he headed towards an obviously prominent hotel. He had to find an apartment soon, but they were extremely expensive here.
Ah, well, whatever. Might as well as rest for now.
Izaya fell into a deep sleep, not wanting to think about Shizuo.
On the other side of the world, Shizuo prepared for his plane flight and felt his heart flutter. Just the thought of doing something so clingy weirded himself out. In the first place, he didn't even know where Izaya was in the populated NYC. He just felt like he would find him. How stupid this all was. Why wasn't he letting go of Izaya, the one man he wanted to kill? As Shizuo boarded the airplane, he grew tired and soon fell asleep peacefully.
