"Excuse me?''
Izaya was on the phone, speaking through his knowledge of rough English.
"I haven't done such a thing. You are mistaken.''
Judging from his tone of voice, Shizuo's eyes flicked towards him and then went back to staring at the sky.
A few more minutes passed when he finally hung up, sighing.
"What was that?''
"Ah...they thought that I had made a mistake on this important document I had to hand in. I mean, the mistake was there, but it's too major for me to do that. "
"Can't the company just change it?''
"The document goes to the government, which concludes the amount of money we receive for certain subjects...''
He went on about the document and his job and his role and how he couldn't make a mistake and a rough estimate they got every year.
Shizuo naturally got bored, but he nodded as if he agreed.
"It can't get too serious, though.''
Izaya looked at him.
"Yeah, that's true.''
***************************************************
Shit, it's raining.
Izaya was just getting off from a long day at work due to various problems, and it had started raining in the meantime. He ran to get to the stairs leading to the subway and tried to quickly walk down.
Strangely, his back felt a small push, leading to his whole body slipping on the wet stairs and falling the whole way down.
"Fuck, ow!''
Instinctively he turned his head but didn't see anyone behind him.
"Do they have to go to these kind of shitty methods? If you're looking to pick a fight, do it face to face, bastard.''
The raven-haired man rubbed his back, then his arms.
"Agh...it hurts everywhere.''
He slowly dragged himself to the subway, wanting to go home immediately.
********************************************
"Shit, OWWW!''
Shizuo continued to place the medication over his back.
Izaya began grinding his teeth together to restrain from crying out.
Not being able to voice out his pain, his eyes teared up as his whole back burned.
"These are serious injuries. Who did it?''
"I don't know, so don't get angry and go looking for a fight. I can almost hear your veins popping.''
Shizuo calmed down a bit and muttered,
"That's ridiculous.''
He grabbed for the bandages and began to add them.
"These are bruises worse than I've had.''
"I doubt you let anyone give you any anyway.''
"Mm.''
"...''
"There, done.''
"Thanks. Didn't expect you to know how to do this.''
"Everyone does.''
"You know you're not classifed as just everyone.''
Izaya leaned back slightly, shirt off, making sure to not injure anything more.
Shizuo glanced at his chest and poked his nipple.
"Good thing these are still in good condition.''
"Say something else and you'll be the one needing bandages.''
Shizuo smirked his usual way, heading off to the bathroom.
Izaya spread himself so that he laid down on his stomach.
"Do I already have enemies in America? If I was in Japan I would've been a lot more wary and not let that happen to me, since I have numerous people who want to kill me there.''
He heaved a sigh and placed his head on his arm.
"It hurts.''A/N: Kind of been hooked with summer 2015's anime, which is where most of my time goes to. I'm excited for the new season of Durarara, and Kamiya Hiroshi sounds even better somehow!
