"Hm? Go out? Where?''
"To one of my favorite cafés~''
"Alright. Let's go, then. And, thank you for this.''
Izaya held the bag up.
"Ok, see you!''
And she left, closing the door with a bang.
Izaya turned to go back to the kitchen, but stopped in his tracks and looked at Shizuo weirdly.
"What is it?''
He didn't say anything, but he only knew that the girl asked him to go out with her. For Izaya's response, he obviously accepted, since the blondie left so happily.
"...''
"Hey, talk. What's up with you?''
Shizuo didn't lift his head while Izaya glared at him, annoyed.
"Bastard. Don't look like you want to say something when you don't have anything to say.''
When Shizuo remained silent, Izaya sighed and entered the kitchen.
A few minutes later, two servings of breakfast appeared on the dining table.
Shizuo looked at it quickly.
"I don't want it.''
Izaya stopped the fork about to enter his mouth and placed it down.
He stood up slowly and went over to Shizuo.
"If you don't eat this, you'll get out.''
"...''
Hesitantly, he started eating and Izaya returned to his plate. Only the sounds of clinking forks and knives were present.
Shizuo decided to make his point.
"You...''
"Finally decided to talk, huh? What is it?''
"Who was that girl?''
"Hm? Just another coworker.''
"Sure are close for just coworkers.''
He didn't want it to sound that way, but it came out like that anyway.
"What? Why does it matter?''
Frustrated, Shizuo stuffed the rest of his breakfast in his mouth and left the room.
Izaya glared at him once more.
"What the heck...''
****************************************************
Shizuo tried to calm down, but he couldn't explain this feeling too well. For some reason, he absolutely hated that girl as soon as Izaya started talking to him.
Shizuo called Shinra up.
"Um, I'm going to assume this is Shizuo, since this is an international call?''
"Yeah, uh, Shinra. Can I ask you about something?''
"...why are you acting so nice? Creepy.''
There it was again. Him being nice was creepy? Izaya said it, too.
"Well, I'm living with Izaya right now, and this girl came over, and he smiled too nicely, and as soon as she came, I felt pissed, and-''
"Shizuo.''
"Interrupting me, bastard? What is it?''
"You're in love with Izaya?''
"...huh?''
Oh, shit.
"There's no way you'd feel that way if you didn't like Izaya. It's called jealousy. You thick headed baffoon.''
He gave a slight chuckle as Shizuo got ready to throw the phone out a window.
"By the way, I feel like beating those who approach Celty as well, male or female. And I'm the calm one.''
Shizuo's arm stopped as he brought the phone to his ear again.
"...so....it's jealousy....?''
"That's right.''
"Uh...I see...well...thank you, Shinra.''
Shizuo heard a loud clash resonating from the phone.
"S-Shizuo.''
"What? And why do you sound like you're crying?''
"Ah, Shizuo, I hiccup will treasure your hiccup words forever hiccup okay?''
"...''
************************************************
What is with him? I didn't even do anything and he's all angry. Is it because I accepted Nicole's invitation? ...nah, he's not that type.
Izaya sighed in frustration and finished taking care of the dishes.
Just then, Shizuo appeared and slid his arms around Izaya's waist with his head resting on Izaya's shoulder. He turned his head and licked his nape.
Izaya felt shivers travel down as he tried to resist Shizuo's inhumane strength.
"Shizuo...ah!''
The silent bartender had traveled to Izaya's ear and was softly nibbling his sensitive spot.
Izaya could feel his ears reddening, and Shizuo stopped.
The shorter man turned around.
