Cecilia lies asleep on my arm, and this time I'm awake and conscious enough to actually enjoy it. It was too cold for her again last night, and I only offered her to come sleep in my bed out of the kindness in my heart which screamed at me to not let her shiver herself to sleep.

Her face is scrunched up in this adorable way that I can't help but admire, and her hands are balled into fists, one set of fingers unknowingly clutching the sleeve of my shirt under her. Soft, hardly audible snores escape her slightly agape mouth, and I'm left with no choice but to practically suffocate in attempt to not breath to loud to the point of waking her.

All attempts at keeping her in my arms as long as I can are quickly thrown away when the door abruptly swings open with a loud thud. Followed by said noise, comes the annoying voice I was very uninterested in hearing first thing in the morning.

"Guess who's back, you little bitches!"

Luca's shrill voice pierces my ear and startles Cece enough to peel her eyes open, her alert eyes glancing around the room to the best of her abilities. She makes a sleepy, confused sound and I channel everything I have into glaring at Luca who stops in his tracks.

"Uh?" He stares wide-eyed at us, frozen in place.

"Can your fatass not block the entry of the door way?" A grumble comes from behind his frame, and I roll my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Oh, God." I hear Cecilia say quietly, and I peer down to see her weakly pulling the blanket over her head, and then I feel her face burying into my chest.

"What's going on, why are you just standing there?" Alex speaks monotonously, moving around Luca's still frame to nod in greeting at me. He hasn't noticed the lump of a person next to me. That or he has and just doesn't care.

Luca doesn't respond, but he at least tries to. His mouth opens and closes a few times and his face forms into something horrified, and I roll my eyes again. "Oh, fuck off, Luca. It's not like that."

Considering that I can almost feel her face heating up against me, It'd be wrong to admit how nice it is to have her so close to me.

"Hi Cecilia," Alex drawls casually, confirming he does in fact realize she's there.

There's a pause, and her hand. leaves my arm, and everyone hears a quiet and timid 'hello.'

"Luca can you stop just standing there?" I glare.

He actually does look away, but only because he looks too disturbed to keep staring at us. I can only assume what kind of thoughts are running through his head, and I'm desperate for him to voice any of them. I send him a pointed look that he craches, and he shakes his head and starts mumbling to himself as he sets his stuff down.

"Can you guys meet us downstairs for breakfast?" I ask, trying to hide the annoyance in my voice.

Luca opens his mouth, his face hinting he's about to argue, but Alex thankfully grabs him by the shoulder and starts pushing him out.

When the door makes a quiet click as it closes, Cecilia finally peeks out from the blanket. She looks behind her to make sure everyone is gone, then looks back up to me with burning cheeks.

"You gonna stay down there?" I cock my head to the side, grinning down at her.

"Shut up," she grumbles, making a point to not meet my eyes. She pushes herself up with her arms until she's half-lying down on her side, messy hair splayed all over her face.

"You don't have to go meet them downstairs, by the way." I tell her, dropping my smile.

"No it's okay." She sighs, patting down her messed up hair as she gets out of my bed. "If I don't they'll think even worse. God this looks bad, doesn't it?" She snorts to herself, shaking her head.

I hum in response, not bothering to say anything further.

                                   .•° ✿ °•.

She's embarrassed. She's very, heavily embarrassed to the point where she can't even meet my eyes.

After she got up she wordlessly got dressed and walked a noticeably large distance from me as we walked down to the canteen.

When we actually got there and sat down with Alex and the dipshit, she rushed to explain what had really happened, then burst into a hearty conversation with Luca. And not once did she speak a word nor did she spare me a glance.

"Cecilia." I speak horsely, reaching for her wrist as she goes to stand up.

She falters in her place and turns to look at me- or more like she stares at the top of my head because she can't fucking look me in the eye. "Cecilia," I try, to no avail. "Cecilia look at me." I snap.

"I am?" She insists, and out of the corner of my eye I catch Luca and Alex quarreling with each other near the food.

"No, look at me." I demand, and I know she understands what I mean because she breathes out a sigh. And for a moment she bows her head in refusal before finally bringing her eyes up.

She smiles sheepishly as I give her a pointed glare. "Sorry," she mumbles like a scolded child.

The tension slowly starts to dissipate and I let go of her wrist. "Don't let Luca's idiotic self embarrass you just because he likes to jump to conclusions, yes?"

"Yes..." she mumbles, flushing slightly.

"Good." I turn away, letting her go as I start to hear Alex raise his voice at Luca.
