--WARNING LONG CHAPTER (3515 WORDS)--

I was lounging on the training field, the soft breeze ruffling my hair as I gazed at the clouds drifting lazily overhead. After all the intense battles we'd been through recently, a peaceful day like this felt rare. I closed my eyes, enjoying the quiet... until I heard someone muttering not too far away.

"Hey, Yuji, you okay over there?" I called out, lifting myself up on one elbow. Yuji was pacing back and forth, his face scrunched up in concentration. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit—he looked like he was trying to solve a puzzle without all the pieces.

"Huh? Oh, yeah! Just... uh... thinking," he stammered, rubbing the back of his neck. His cheeks were a bit flushed, and I raised an eyebrow, amused.

"Thinking? About what? You look like you're about to have a breakdown," I teased, standing up and dusting off my clothes.

Yuji hesitated for a moment, glancing around nervously. "It's nothing... well, actually, there's something I wanted to ask you..."

Before he could finish, Nobara and Megumi walked over, both smirking knowingly.

"Oh, this is gonna be good," Nobara said with a grin. "Come on, Yuji, spit it out already!"

Megumi crossed his arms, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, we're all ears. Unless you're too scared..."

Yuji shot them a glare but took a deep breath, turning back to me. "Y/N, would you... like to go out with me? You know, on a... date? This weekend?" His words tumbled out in a rush, his face turning bright red.

I blinked, surprised. I hadn't expected that. But then, a warm smile spread across my face. "Sure, Yuji. I'd love to."

Yuji's face lit up with a mix of relief and excitement. "Really? Awesome! I mean, cool, that's cool," he fumbled, trying to play it cool but failing miserably. I chuckled, finding his awkwardness endearing.

Nobara nudged Megumi. "Looks like we've got a love story in the making," she whispered loudly enough for both of us to hear, making Yuji groan in embarrassment.

"Knock it off, Nobara," he muttered, but he couldn't hide the smile on his face.

The morning of our date arrived faster than I expected. As I got ready, I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous myself. It wasn't every day I went on a date, especially with someone like Yuji.

I kept it simple—just some comfortable clothes that still looked nice. Nothing too flashy, but I wanted to look good. As I adjusted my headband in the mirror, I heard a knock on the door.

"Y/N! You ready yet?" It was Satoru's voice, sounding all too amused.

I opened the door to find him leaning against the frame, a grin plastered on his face. "What's this I hear about you going on a date with Itadori?" he asked, his tone teasing.

I rolled my eyes. "Please don't make a big deal out of it, Satoru. It's just a date."

Satoru chuckled. "Oh, I'm not making a big deal. But you know, if you need any tips, your big brother is here to help."

I shoved him playfully out of the way. "I think I'll manage just fine, thanks. And please, don't follow us around town, okay?"

He feigned offense, holding a hand to his chest. "Would I do that?"

"Yes," I replied flatly.

"Fair point," he conceded with a wink. "But I promise, I'll be good. Have fun, Yin."

I smiled despite myself and headed out to meet Yuji. As I approached the school gates, I saw him waiting there, fidgeting nervously. He was dressed nicely—simple, but it suited him.
