35. Laffy Birthday

They say that laughter is the best medicine, and it can be very healthy for you too. But, what if you could throw a party that keeps everyone laughing? Well, that's what the gang did one day! It all started when the gang decided to visit Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy's house. Their house was the closest to the Hanna-Barbera studio, and recently, they brought home some reels of old bloopers. So the gang decided to head down there to watch them. The first blooper showed Fred Flintstone sliding off his dinosaur, but instead of landing in his car, he landed on the back of another dinosaur!

The gang laughed and laughed at the funny moment. Of course, Huckleberry Hound laughed the loudest. It didn't take much to make him laugh, as anything funny would send him into hysterics! And sometimes, once he started laughing, it was hard for him to stop!

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" the hound chortled. "Fred, you're so funny!!!"

"Heh, heh, heh!" Fred laughed. "Let's see one of you next, Huckleberry!"

The next blooper showed a clip from Huck's barbecue cartoon. Huck was chasing the ball that the dog threw to him, but when he reached out to grab it, he landed on his belly!

"Whoops!" he said, laughing.

"CUT!!"

Once again, the gang roared with laughter.

"Uhuhuhuhuhuhuh!!" Quick Draw McGraw guffawed. "That was hilarious!!"

Then they watched a blooper with the horse and Baba Looey.

"I was overcome by a...uhhhhhh...bleh, bleh, bleh!"

"Hahahahaha, cut!"

Quick Draw's silly face was enough to send the gang into a huge giggle fit. Then they saw a blooper from Yogi Bear's first movie, where he, Boo-Boo, and Cindy were singing, when they started hiccupping.

"Yogi, I think we HIC! Ate too quickly again!" Boo-Boo chuckled.

The gang cracked up at the funny blooper. Then, they watched a blooper of Hokey Wolf in Chock Full Chuck Wagon. Hokey was supposed to turn on the record player, but it didn't play any sound, until he held it up to his ear. That's when a loud noise sounded off! The loud noise startled him as he and Ding-a-Ling started laughing.

"Cut!" the director shouted.

The gang hit the ground laughing, but even when they stopped, Huck couldn't stop! He was still in hysterics!

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! These are some of the funniest bloopers I've ever seen!!! I can't help it!!! This is just too durn funny!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"Gee, Huck, calm down!" Augie chuckled.

"You're a dog, not a hyena!" Fred added.

"I'm sorry, fellers!" Huck cackled. "But this is HYSTERICAL!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"Reah!" Scooby-Doo added. "Hysterical! Rehehehehehehe!"

"Shee!" Top Cat laughed. "Who knew these two would get themselves into a giggle fit!"

Huck and Scooby soon finally calmed down from laughing so much on account of their sore sides.

"Hoo, boy!" the hound sighed. "My belly is starting to hurt from laughing so much. Why don't we have some lemonade?"

"Sure!" Doggie Daddy replied. "That'll cool off our tonsils."

So, the gang sat down for some nice cold lemonade, when Huck remembered something!

"Hey, I just remembered! Hokey's birthday is four days away!"

"Oh, yeah!" Snagglepuss replied. "We gotta do something for him!"
