"We've been paddling for an hour now, My arms are gonna fall off any second" Thalia whined as she stopped paddling, stretching her arms.
"Percy change with me" Thalia called out to Percy,
"Dude! Are you seriously sleeping right now?" Grover said as he tried to shake Percy, making the boat shake as well.
"Dude, come on, I was concentrating on trying to control the water here," Percy said as he opened his eyes, the group looked at Percy with shock.
"You can control the waters here in the Underworld?' Nico asked as he looked at Percy.
Percy shrugged his shoulder, both hands holding both ends of the boat, "A little, the waters down here are a bit different than those above" Percy replied, Annabeth and Thalia both stopped paddling.
"Poseidon is the god of the seas, maybe it is possible with enough concentration, you can control the waters of the underworld," Annabeth said as she placed both the paddles down.
"Hey! Here's a thought, our bodies hold 40% water, and blood is essentially a liquid, have you tried controlling a body with just their blood?" Thalia asked looking over at Percy with curious eyes.
The rest of the group also looked at Percy, with Percy shaking his head aggressively.
"Won't say I've never thought of that, but no. I will not, although tempting, but I still won't do it." Percy answered Thalia who rolled her eyes.
"We just crossed Styx, and were officially in the river of Acheron" Nico announced.
"Percy, continue your concentration, while Grover and I paddle to speed up more" Nico handed over the paddle to Grover as they continued paddling.
"Are we there yet? This river is much harder to control than Styx with all those whispering" Percy groaned.
"We're close just continue concentrating Percy" Annabeth answered as the group paddled more aggressively.
A minute later they reached the shore of Acheron, and one by one, they exited the boat.
The sound of someone crying reached the group's ears as they took out their weapons.
"That must be the voice in the oracle, let's follow it," Percy said, as the group followed where the sound was coming too.
"My dream, my sweet precious dream"
The voice cried from the cave Percy and the rest found, they followed the voice down from the cave and saw a figure holding a stick sitting on a rock with a pond in front of him.
The group approached the person carefully, the sounds of crying coming from the said figure.
"Hypnos? Father of Senia?" Percy asked the hooded figure which stopped his crying. He looked at who called out to him, face covered with his hood.
"A Satyr, four demigods, daughter of Athena, son of Hades, daughter of Zeus, and son of Poseidon...
You all must be lucky to cross both Styx and Acheron unscathed, If you can't see, I am grieving here" Hypnos said as he continued to look at the pond in front of him.
"Senia is dying?" Annabeth asked making Hypnos look over at her with shock.
"Idiot girl! Can you not see? My precious dream is hurt, and I am not there to comfort her" Hypnos answered Annabeth as he continued to look at Senia through the pond.
"Why are you all even here? If you are seeking to find allies with us, then you are far too late, I do not wish to join you or Kronos's army, I am quite content being here, and having relationships with my children, something none of those other gods bother to have,
If you are here for my brothers and sisters, they too have the same view, we do not wish to join, sister Hecate, and my son Morpheus on the other hand has joined Kronos" Hypnos said with a grunt as he mentioned the gods, and Kronos.
"We're here because of an oracle, we were given a quest to retrieve your daughter, she can help us with a friend, well, their friend, don't really know the guy," Nico said to Hypnos.
A few minutes passed, and Hypnos stood up from his seat walking towards the group of teens, they followed Hypnos who now stood in front of them.
"Have a safe trip," Hypnos said pushing the group towards the pond using his stick.
