There were a couple main points to this meeting. One, being the fact that due to the lack of people for the fighting ring lately, the other affiliates were going to have to work twice as hard to make sure that the workers didn't fall behind.

Two, Tom Lee and associates were going to be working with the 4th affiliate for extra precaution and manpower, making things more efficient.

Third, Club Vivi was going to need to pull in more VIP's from foreign businesses. Eugene basically wanted them to pull in a more diverse span of business, which Vivi was most likely going to do via drugs.

Fourthly, you were going to be working with the more newly established 2nd affiliate.

"Is that alright with everyone?" Eugene finished.

There was silence, followed by a heavy foot being slammed on the table, gaining everyone's attention.

<"No, it isn't."> Ryuhei snarled.

You assumed he was staring directly at you as he said it.

<"I think his question was rhetorical."> You said.

Xiaolong was keeping his eyes closed and arms crossed as he just listened, Mistuki did the same.

"What an angry boy!" Tom cheered.

<"Ryuhei."> Eugene caught his attention. <"I think you might want to reconsider your position.">

Eugene was now getting pressure as the blonde refused to back down.

<"I don't think I will."> He crouched down in front of Eugene from the table.

There was a lot of tension in the air, especially when Mandeok stood by the chairman's side in a flash, ready to take any necessary means.

"If I may make a request." You held your hand up to get their attention. "Maybe Ryuhei has a point."

You did not want to be stuck with him and his bratty president for the unforeseeable future.

Eugene seemed a lot more cold now. Obviously he himself wasn't the strongest in the room even despite his bodyguards, but if he kept having people going against his orders then his chain of command would crumble.

<"No."> He replied. "It's already been decided."

<"Bullshit—">

<"That's enough."> Mistuki interjected.

You just stared on the sidelines at this point almost as a spectator.

You didn't even want to be here at all.

<"It would be an honor to work alongside [y/n]."> She spoke for Ryuhei.

Now, even though Ryuhei himself didn't want anything to do with you or your family, if Mistuki decided it, then that's how it would be.
