"it's gruesome. Even more so that kids were the ones that found him. He was left in those woods with no resources. He couldn't walk at all, and he had his vocal cords ripped. The way his dead mouth hung open... It was obvious he tried to scream for help, but he couldn't. In panic, he had tried to crawl to help."

"It's strange though, it seemed like he was going to one place in particular. But it wasn't in the direction of any hospital or police. But he ended up bleeding out, all alone. Before he ever got to where he wanted."

"It's a shame, he has no living family. No one has come to claim his body either. I guess he doesn't know anyone in Korea. He won't even be granted a proper funeral or burial."

"He's all alone, in life and death."

---------------------

People stared with sharp and pity-filled eyes as you walked down the school halls. They were so familiar to you, yet everything felt so much more different now.

Then again it was all your fault anyway. You were urged to stay home for as long as you pleased. But you couldn't stay another minute in that place.

It didn't matter who stared, nor who judged, or even gossiped. Anywhere was better than there.

Everyone was already well informed of what had happened.

It got even worse when you actually made it inside the class.

"[Y/n].. we heard what happened, we just wanted to let you know that if you need anything at all then we're all ears." Said a coy smile from a girl who's never before spared you a single glance.

It was one of the most insufferable experiences you've had as of late. All around you were pity and sympathetic masks.

Duke seemed lost as he didn't know what he could possibly say or do to make you feel any better. He shared the same eyes as everyone else.

You felt watched- uncomfortable, it was impossible to even complete any work.

Did you really look that sad to everyone?

Of course you were grieving, mourning. But it's not like this was the first dead body you've seen.

Even if he was a friend.

You would be more worried about Daniel. Has anyone asked him how he's feeling? Are people looking at him like a wounded puppy?

You doubted he'd stay home. He was a busy body. Despite what happened, you didn't think that would change.
