"SO, YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT he led you along for, like, almost a year only to go back to England once we graduated?" Stacy scoffed. Shaking her head in disappointment.
Lucy nodded. She moved slightly on her bed, lying on her back with her head hanging off the side to look at her best friend who was pacing up and down in her bedroom, angry at the guy that strung Lucy along, "Right? Like isn't that just fucked up?"
Stacy nodded and plopped herself down onto the floor beside the bed. She grabbed Lucy's face in her hands and pressed a sloppy kiss on her forehead, "You deserve so much better..."
Lucy groaned and pushed Stacy away, pretending to be disgusted but in the end she ended up laughing at her friend's behaviour.
"...What about that guy you hooked up with on your twenty-first birthday?" Stacy suddenly asked, her eyes wide with excitement, she snapped her fingers, looking deep in thought, "What was his name?...Danny? Damian?"
"Diego?" Lucy suggested, scrunching her face up as she tried to remember the guy's name, "I think?"
"You can't remember the guy's name?"
Lucy shrugged, "It was my twenty-first birthday!" She defended herself, "We drank way too much."
"Well, what about him?" Stacy wiggled her eyebrows.
"What about him?" Lucy asked, dumbfounded.
Stacy groaned dramatically, "Why not explore that avenue?" She suggested, pushing Lucy's shoulder lightly, "He was cute!"
"We never exchanged numbers," Lucy confessed. Frowning. Deeply regretting the fact that she never decided to swap numbers with the guy, but at the time, she had been getting strung along by Nathan, a guy with the most perfect English accent she had ever heard.
"He was cute and I thought he was interested," Lucy confessed, shrugging as she glanced between the camera and Stacy who was seated on the couch next to her.
Stacy shook her head, leaning backwards with her arms folded over her chest, a sour look on her face as she thought about Nathan, "What did I tell you when you met him? You can't trust him. English people are always villains in movies."
Lucy rolled her eyes, "We're not in a movie."
Stacy scoffed, "He became a villain. Clearly we are," She smirked, looking proud of herself as she made eye contact with the camera.
