It was the next day and you were waiting for Ajax at the agreed place, deep down you were wishing he wouldn't turn up, that he would run away and never come back anywhere near the Fatui.

Yet you knew that it wasn't possible, if he had already agreed to joining the Fatui, the Fatui wouldn't let him stay in Snezhnaya. He would have to move away to a different nation to get away from the Fatui because there they weren't able to control him.

You wished he would've declined your offer, he would be able to have a happy normal future like anybody else in Teyvat. You wished you never met him that night in the Forest, because if you wouldn't have met him, you wouldn't have met his family, then he wouldn't have felt as if he wanted to join the Fatui.

Small things had big impacts. If you would've never met him none of this would happen. He would be able to live a normal life like any teenager would and if he were to join the Fatui it would be because he was an adult and because genuinely he wanted to join the Fatui.

It wasn't as if you thought lowly of him as to why you were currently wishing you never met him, it was because you overall didn't want his life ruined. He was a smart boy, he didn't deserve this future.

You weren't one to think lowly of your organisation, you always recruited new people when you saw potential in them. You had to admit you saw potential in him, you knew he could do well in the Fatui. You just thought he was too young to join, too innocent and sweet to have a future like this.

You sat patiently at the training grounds, since it was his first session it was more of seeing what he could do, his strengths and weaknesses. Then you had to discover what he was to work on and things like that. Overall the first session wasn't really kind learning too much.

Unfortunately enough though, you could see a tall ginger approaching where you sat. He seemed excited, too excited.

"Hey y/n!" He shouted over at you waving.

"Ajax during working hours I don't go by that name so please refrain from calling me it. Call me my Alias instead, La Ruffiana."

"Oh, sorry. Why do you go by an Alias instead of your real name though?"

"It's in a way like a sense of authority and to protect the identities of the harbingers and their families. As well as that becoming a harbinger in a way is letting go off your old past, so you also kind of let go off your birth name. There's a few different reasons as to why."

"Oh.. I get it now. Will I become a harbinger?"

His sudden question caught you off guard, will he become a harbinger?
