Although you weren't ready to speak to Childe after the recent situations of your life, you still wanted to spend some time with him.

He had been avoiding work recently due to your own situation so he had piles of paperwork sat in his office waiting to be signed and filled out.

So instead of just waiting for him to be finished since that would take a while, you decided to go help him out.

You weren't too bothered about your own work, you had a few extra days off to recover even though physically you felt fine.

You were also feeling less upset about the recent events because you had enough time to deal with that situation. The memories resurfacing were upsetting but they were in the past, none of that could come back and haunt you anymore.

You sat opposite Childe in his office, scanning your eyes through the paperwork he had received whilst he did the same. Though one of the papers looked like it wouldn't benefit the Fatui in any way.

The contract specifically stated that 65% of the profits would go to the other organisation, and only 35% of the profits would go to the Fatui. Meanwhile the Fatui were supplying 50% of the resources for the specific project.

You raised an eyebrow whilst reading through the contract, then looked at Childe's signature which confused you even more.

"Have you consulted The Tsaritsa about this project by any chance?" You asked, handing him the contract.

You knew he was in a bad mood, yet you couldn't allow this since the Fatui would be losing out on money.

Well it was Pantalone who would be supplying the mora but either way, that would still be a loss for the Fatui.

He furrowed his eyebrows whilst reading through it, "What's your issue with the contract?"

"My issue is that we will lose out on resources and mora by going forward with this. We would be supplying half of the resources whilst we got less profit than they did." You replied, taking the contract away from his hands.

"Just shut up making it an issue, you don't even know about the contract you haven't been working for two weeks." He rolled his eyes, not bothering to look at you and instead looked at more paperwork he had to sign.

"Why are you being so rude to me? I understand you may be in a bad mood but there's no reason for you to take it all out on me when I didn't do anything wrong. Plus the reason why I haven't been working for the past two weeks is because I was in a coma. You know that." You normally wouldn't say something but he was being rude for no apparent reason. You correcting his mistakes shouldn't be a reason for him to be rude.
