It had been a week since the incident and things were only getting worse for Childe.

As he paced round his room in panic his anxiety was sky rocketing through the roof. The worst thing about it all is he blamed himself.

It wasn't his fault, obviously, and if you were here you would only blame yourself for what happened.

Yet he didn't think in that way, he blamed nobody but himself.

He would sit by you hours a day, praying that you would just make a single movement yet his prayers weren't answered.

No matter how much he begged the gods above to do something, nobody answered.

Whilst you were trapped in your own mind unaware of everything that was going on in your surroundings.

"Ugh, get off me!" You yelled.

You were standing in the middle of a forest in Snezhnaya, having no idea of where you are as a large man from the Fatui was attacking you.

Your parents bowed down to the Fatui at ever opportunity given, and you were raised the same way. So why were they suddenly attacking you?

A young teenage girl.

The cryo skirmisher continued shooting ice your way, lunging towards you at any given opportunity.

"Fuck.." You muttered to yourself as you defencelessly shielded your face and chest with your arms.

Your cries for help were no use because in this cold nation, nobody would dare to oppose the Fatui.

Soon after you just gave up.

What did you even have to live for anymore?

Survival was a game you had been losing at since you were a child. The chances you would ever make it past 18 were low, extremely low. The odds were never in your favour either.

With your way of living and your home life you were lucky to be alive now, having dodged death multiple times.

To live doesn't mean your alive.

As the wicked laugh of the Fatui Skirmisher echoed throughout the forest, your ears began to ring as you were helplessly knocked down.

Your vision clouded over for a split second before a light began to blind your eyes.

The skirmisher noticed this as well, and stopped to see what it was.
