It was the next day, you had slept at Childe's the night before yet you had returned back to your room to get ready for your date.
He said he was taking you to a nice restaurant which you were excited for, because it had been a while since you had went and ate some good food and it was a while since you had actually sat down and spoke with him. Never mind actually spent time with him.
The last times you had actually seen him were at the funeral, then for half an hour for training yesterday then obviously you slept at his.
You finished up getting ready, spraying some of the perfume he bought you onto your body.
It had only taken you around 40 minutes to get ready which was quite fast for you.
A knock was heard on your door, and you walked to open it, obviously not just shouting "Come in" like you usually was because you weren't 100% sure whether it was Childe or not.
Luckily it was him.
He smiled once he saw you, placing a small kiss on your lips.
Once he had pulled away, he began by saying, "You look beautiful." With a small smirk on his face as his eyes dragged down your body.
"You look quite handsome yourself, rare to see you in a suit." You chuckled.
"Need to make sure I look good for you, but secretly I believe you always think I look good." He winked.
You playfully rolled your eyes, a small smile on your face. "Whatever helps you sleep at night."
"You're not denying it though." He chuckled.
"I know I'm not."
"Quite bold today, aren't you y/n?" He said, leaning against the frame of your door.
"Maybe I am feeling bold, or maybe I'm just being honest." You shrugged.
"I think you should keep being honest."
"Maybe I will, maybe I won't."
He laughed, "Okay, let's go now, our reservation is in 20 minutes, and we still need to get there."
"Reservation? That's new. Usually you just walk in and expect them to seat us straight away." You chuckled, walking out of your room then locking it behind you.
He walked alongside you, "They always seat us straight away though, but this time I decided to actually get us a reservation. Only the best for my girl."
