It was now the next day, you were patiently waiting for Ajax at the same place as the same day before.
You were less worried than the day before, you could see that this was his fate anyways. With such potential in the battlefield he was bound to get involved with Fatui one day or another.
You were kind of excited and intrigued to see him at his limits, his true strength.
In the distance the familiar ginger haired boy was walking towards you, waving his hand with a cheery smile.
You stand up and smile, waving back at him. He approaches you and says.
"So La Ruffiana, what are we doing today?"
"Unfortunately nothing too exciting, first we need to go to my office and sign a few contracts and do the paperwork for you to properly join the Fatui, then after that I'll see if I have any ideas."
"Oh.. paperwork. I forgot about that, that's going to be boring."
"Yeah, it's not the funnest thing ever but it's still mandatory, follow me." You turn around and walk inside the headquarters, down the corridor to your office.
Ajax's eyes lit up in awe, looking around. Your office was fairly big, quite modern with large windows. The colour theme was mainly white, grey and a pale blue. It looked cold but surprisingly it was quite warm.
"This is nice, do you always get to work in here?" He grinned.
"Yeah I suppose it's pretty nice, unfortunately nothing fun happens in here apart from paperwork and signing contracts, sometimes meetings." You sit down on your chair and Ajax sits in front of you spinning around.
You look through a drawer, taking out a contract and a pen placing it in front of you.
"So to summarise, this contract states that joining the Fatui means devoting your life to the Tsaritsa and obeying her every order. By signing this it also means you will get paid a certain amount, and it also states that the Fatui aren't responsible for anything that happens to you. Theres a lot more that's just some stuff, just read it yourself and sign it."
You push the contract in front of him and hand him a pen. You sharply inhale, feeling quite guilty about the fact you're recruiting a 16 year old.
His eyes scan through the contract, and his eyebrows furrow in confusion. He glances up at you, "What does it mean when it says they aren't responsible for Dottore experimenting on me? Then it also says something about him being allowed to. Who's Dottore?"
