Y/N sighed softly, looking over at him once more before returning to her work. She’d let him sleep for a while before nudging him to at least put on some clothes. It was moments like these that made her realize how much the boys had come to trust and rely on her—so much so that they felt comfortable being themselves, even in their most vulnerable and unguarded states.
As she worked, she couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of affection for them. They had become more than just her responsibility; they were her family, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
It was the night before school started, and the mansion was unusually quiet as the boys rested in their rooms. The calm was a stark contrast to the usually lively atmosphere filled with their laughter, bickering, and music. Y/N sat in her room, working diligently on her laptop. She had an important report due, and even though the house was at peace, her mind was racing with all the tasks she had to complete before the next day.
Jin, however, wasn’t in his room. He was with her, sitting quietly on her lap, seeking the comfort he had come to crave from Y/N. Completely naked, his head rested against her chest, lips softly suckling on her breast as she continued working. His eyes were closed, and he was entirely at peace, allowing himself to be vulnerable in her presence. He felt safe, comforted by her warmth and the steady rhythm of her heartbeat beneath his ear.
Y/N had grown accustomed to these moments. At first, she had been taken aback by the boys' dependence on her in such intimate ways, but over time, she realized it was their way of finding solace, of reconnecting with a sense of family they had long been deprived of. Jin, despite his mature and often stoic exterior, had his moments of vulnerability, and Y/N never hesitated to give him the comfort he needed.
With one hand, she typed away on her laptop, focused on her report, while the other rested on Jin’s bare back, gently caressing his skin. Her touch was soothing, reassuring him even as she worked. Occasionally, Jin would switch sides, moving to her other breast, his hands kneading her gently, as though seeking further comfort.
After a while, Y/N looked down at him. “Are you comfortable, Jin?” she asked softly, her voice filled with warmth and affection.
Jin nodded slightly, his lips releasing her breast for a moment. “Mhm,” he hummed, his voice drowsy. He was content, feeling the stress of the upcoming school year melt away in her arms.
Y/N smiled gently. “Good. Just relax, okay?”
He hummed again in response, his eyelids fluttering as he nuzzled against her, his body completely relaxed in her embrace. They sat like that for a while longer until Jin finally lifted his head, blinking sleepily as he looked up at her.
“Noona, I… I just want to say thank you,” he whispered softly, his voice laced with gratitude and affection.
Y/N’s heart melted at his words. She smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from his face. “You don’t have to thank me, Jin. I’m always here for you.”
Jin smiled back at her, a small but genuine smile that showed just how much he appreciated her. He slowly climbed off her lap and stood up, stretching before starting to gather his clothes.
As he got dressed, Y/N watched him fondly. Despite the strange situation, she had come to cherish these quiet moments with them. It was a reminder of the bond they had formed, one that went beyond words.
Once Jin was fully dressed, he walked over to Y/N and bent down, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. “Goodnight, Noona,” he whispered before heading towards the door.
“Goodnight, Jin,” Y/N replied, her heart swelling with affection for him. She watched as he left the room, a small smile still playing on her lips.
As she turned back to her laptop, her thoughts drifted to how far they had all come. Despite the challenges they had faced, they had built something beautiful together—a family.
