It was Sunday morning when the doorbell rang, interrupting the peaceful silence of the mansion. Suga, always the one to handle unexpected visitors, opened the door and was greeted by an unfamiliar face. The stranger—a man with a confident smile—didn't wait for an invitation and walked right in, roaming through the house with a sense of familiarity that made the boys uneasy.

"Who are you?" Jimin asked, attempting to stop the intruder from wandering any further.

Before anyone could react further, the man’s eyes lit up when he spotted Y/N. With a grin, he sprinted towards her and wrapped his arms around her tightly, as if he'd found a long-lost treasure. Y/N, shocked at first, soon broke into a bright smile, the kind the boys had never seen on her face before. She returned the hug with equal warmth.

"It's Jackson!" Y/N exclaimed, her voice full of joy. "My best friend from childhood! I haven't seen him in ages!"

The boys stood back, watching the scene unfold. Their initial discomfort turned into a sharp pang of jealousy. They had never seen Y/N this open with anyone—not even with them, her brothers. She looked... different. Happier. Lighter. They watched as she and Jackson laughed together, reminiscing about old memories as if no one else was in the room.

Later, Y/N finally noticed them and introduced Jackson to the group. "These are my brothers," she said, her voice affectionate but distracted. "Jackson, this is Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Tae, and Kookie."

Jackson smiled warmly at them and waved. "Nice to meet you guys," he said, though his focus remained on Y/N.

“We’re going out today,” Y/N announced suddenly, making the boys' hearts sink a little.

The jealousy they’d felt earlier only deepened. She hadn’t gone out with them like this in weeks. She used to spend time with them every weekend, but now it seemed like she had no time for them anymore.

"Have fun," Jin said, forcing a smile, though inside, he felt a knot tighten in his chest. The rest of the boys echoed his sentiment, though their voices were softer, tinged with sadness.

The day dragged on as they sat around the house, doing nothing but thinking about Y/N and Jackson. She didn’t come back until late at night, a bright smile on her face—a sight that had once been rare but now seemed reserved for her time with Jackson.

“Come eat with us,” Jungkook suggested, his eyes hopeful. They’d saved dinner, waiting for her like they always did, wanting to spend some time with her as a family.

But Y/N shook her head, her expression soft but distant. “I already ate with Jackson. I’m really tired. I’m going to bed early,” she said before retreating to her room.

The boys sat there in silence, the emptiness in the room mirroring the emptiness they felt in their hearts. Days passed like this, with Y/N unknowingly avoiding them, caught up in the whirlwind of reconnecting with her old friend. She was always with Jackson, her laughter filling the air, but it never reached them anymore.

It hurt. More than they wanted to admit. They tried not to think about it, but the fear gnawed at them. She had told them to respect boundaries, and they had tried—really tried—but now it felt like she had built a wall between them. A wall they didn’t know how to break down.

“She doesn’t need us anymore,” Jimin muttered one evening, his voice barely above a whisper as they sat in the living room without Y/N. “She has her friend now. What if she... leaves us?”

The thought weighed heavily on everyone. They’d been so happy before, growing closer to Y/N, feeling like a real family. But now it felt like they were losing her. The warmth she had brought into their lives was fading, replaced by an unfamiliar coldness that made them feel small and forgotten.

“She loves us,” RM said, though even he sounded unsure. “She wouldn’t just leave us, right?”

The doubt in his voice made everyone uneasy. Their world had revolved around Y/N for so long—her attention, her care, her presence had become their anchor. Now, with Jackson in the picture, it felt like she was drifting away, and they didn’t know how to pull her back.

Jungkook, always the most sensitive, couldn’t hold back his tears. “I don’t want her to leave us,” he whispered, clinging to Tae like a lifeline.

Tae, struggling with his own emotions, gently patted Jungkook’s back. “We’ll talk to her,” he said, though the confidence in his voice faltered. “We have to tell her how we feel.”

That night, they stayed up late, waiting for Y/N to come back from her latest outing with Jackson. When she finally walked through the door, her radiant smile dimmed when she saw their solemn faces.

“What’s wrong?” Y/N asked, concerned as she approached them.

Jin, as the eldest, took a deep breath and spoke up. “Noona... we’ve been feeling like you’re... avoiding us.”

Y/N blinked in surprise. “Avoiding you? No, I’ve just been catching up with Jackson. I didn’t mean to—”

“We get that,” Suga interrupted softly. “But it feels like... you’re pushing us away.”

Jimin hesitated before adding, “We know you wanted boundaries, and we’re trying to respect that. But now it feels like you don’t need us anymore. Like... maybe you’ll leave us.”

Y/N’s heart clenched at their words. She hadn’t realized how distant she had become, how her time with Jackson had made them feel so abandoned. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at each of them, seeing the fear and hurt in their faces.

“I’m so sorry,” she said, her voice breaking. “I never meant to make you feel like that. I’ve just been so caught up with Jackson... I didn’t realize how it was affecting you.”

She took a deep breath and stepped closer to them. “You’re my family,” she continued, her voice stronger now. “I love all of you. I’m not going anywhere. I promise.”

One by one, they slowly nodded, their sadness lifting slightly at her words. Y/N wrapped her arms around them, pulling them into a tight embrace. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a start. They just needed time—time to adjust, to rebuild, and to find their way back to the balance they once had.

In that moment, they felt the warmth return—the warmth that had been missing for so many days. Y/N was still theirs, and they were still hers. Nothing could change that.

As they all pulled away from the heartfelt embrace, Y/N was about to speak again when, one by one, they leaned in for another kiss. This time, it was different—more than just the usual pecks. Their lips pressed against hers with a passion that took her by surprise. One after the other, they kissed her deeply, their tongues gently slipping into her mouth as they lingered a little longer than before.
