After dinner, Y/N headed to the study room, where she found them scattered across the space, doing their own things. Jin and Suga were discussing something quietly, while J-Hope and Jimin bickered playfully in the corner. Jungkook, completely naked as usual, sat in RM’s lap, engrossed in a game. Taehyung, only in his panties, slept peacefully in Suga's arms while they chatted.

The moment they noticed Y/N standing in the doorway, their faces lit up with joy. Even Taehyung stirred from his nap, his sleepy eyes brightening at the sight of her. Jungkook, as energetic as ever, leaped off RM's lap and ran toward her, jumping into her arms with such force that she had to steady herself. Instinctively, she wrapped her hand around his butt to support him, her heart racing a little from the surprise.

“Y/N-noona!” he chirped, hugging her tightly.

She forced a smile, still feeling conflicted. One by one, the boys came up to greet her, each of them pressing their lips to hers in a way that made her heart stop.

But this time, it was different.

The kisses were longer, more lingering. Jin’s kiss was soft but deeper than before, his lips caressing hers tenderly. J-Hope’s lips parted slightly against hers, a hint of his tongue grazing her bottom lip. Even shy Jimin let his tongue flicker into the kiss for a brief second, causing her to pull back ever so slightly, stunned by the shift in their behavior.

*What is happening?* she thought, her mind spinning as they continued to take turns kissing her. Every one of them seemed more passionate, more… intimate than ever before. Her heart raced as she looked at their innocent, smiling faces.

This wasn’t just affection anymore. It felt different—more intense, more charged.

Y/N knew she couldn’t ignore this any longer. She had been avoiding it for too long, but now things had gone too far. She gently set Jungkook down and took a step back, raising her hands to signal them to stop.

“Guys,” she started, her voice steady though her heart pounded in her chest. “We need to talk. Now.”

They all paused, looking at her curiously. The air grew a bit heavier as they sensed something serious in her tone. They were used to her being direct and strict, but this felt different.

Taehyung, who had woken up fully now, rubbed his eyes and shuffled over to her, standing beside her quietly. RM straightened up, sensing the tension, and Jin, always the eldest, took a step forward, worry in his eyes.

“What’s wrong, noona?” Jin asked softly, his eyes searching her face for an answer.

Y/N took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. She couldn’t be gentle about this. It was important to set boundaries before things got even more confusing—for them and for her.

“We need to talk about… everything,” she said slowly, trying to find the right words. “The way we’ve been acting around each other, the way you’ve been behaving with me—it’s not normal.”

Jungkook frowned, his innocent expression showing confusion. “What do you mean, noona? We’re just being affectionate with you.”

“Yes,” Y/N said, nodding. “But this… this is more than affection. I mean, the way you kiss me, the way you touch me… It’s not how brothers and sisters behave. Do you understand that?”

There was silence for a moment, the boys looking at each other with varying degrees of confusion and guilt. Jin seemed to realize first, a faint blush creeping up his cheeks. J-Hope and Jimin looked uncertain, while Taehyung’s brows furrowed as he tried to process what she was saying.

“We just… we love you, noona,” Taehyung said quietly, his voice filled with emotion. “We don’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”

Y/N softened at his words but remained firm. “I know you love me, and I love you too,” she said, her tone gentle but firm. “But we can’t keep crossing these lines. It’s confusing, and it’s not healthy. We’re a family, and we need to keep things appropriate between us.”

Jungkook, still holding onto her arm, looked up at her with wide, tear-filled eyes. “Did we do something wrong?” he asked, his voice small.

Y/N’s heart broke at the sight of him so upset. She kneeled down to his level, cupping his face in her hands. “No, Kookie, you didn’t do anything wrong,” she assured him. “But we need to learn what’s okay and what’s not okay. We can still be close, but we need to be careful with how we show that affection, alright?”

Jungkook sniffled but nodded slowly, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. The others, too, seemed to understand, even if they didn’t fully comprehend the complexities of the situation.

Y/N stood up, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had taken the first step toward addressing the issue. It wasn’t going to be easy, but it was necessary—for all of them. She wanted to protect them, to keep their family bond strong, but she also knew that setting boundaries was the only way to do that.

“Now,” she said, her voice lighter but still serious, “why don’t we get some rest? Tomorrow is a new day.”

They all nodded, the tension easing slightly as they started heading back to their rooms, though Y/N could still feel their lingering confusion. She watched them go, her heart heavy but hopeful.

This is for the best , she told herself firmly.  We’ll get through this . We have to .
