POV: Jennie

I heard the door creak open, a familiar sound that usually brought a sense of relief. But today, it felt different. A wave of anticipation washed over me as I turned to face the doorway.

There she was, Y/N, my best friend, her face flushed and her eyes darting nervously around the room. A frown tugged at my lips. Something was off.
"Hey, Jen," she greeted, her voice barely a whisper.

I raised an eyebrow. "You alright? You seem a little...distracted."

Y/N's eyes widened slightly. "Oh, it's nothing. Just a long day at work."

I didn't believe her. Y/N had never been one to hide her feelings. Something was definitely going on.

"Y/N," I began, my voice firm, "you know you can tell me anything."

She hesitated, her gaze dropping to the floor. I could see the wheels turning in her head.

"I just... I don't want you to worry," she finally admitted.

My heart sank. If Y/N didn't want me to worry, it meant whatever she was hiding was serious. I took a deep breath, trying to remain calm.

"Y/N, please," I said gently. "I'm your friend. I'm here for you."

She looked up, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and determination. "Okay," she said, her voice barely audible.

As she began to speak, I listened intently, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew whatever she was about to tell me would change everything.

Y/N's words hung in the air like a heavy weight. "You're... living with Jungkook?"

I repeated, my voice barely a whisper.
Her cheeks flushed a deep red. "Yeah, it's... complicated."

"Complicated?" I scoffed. "Living with your boss? That's not complicated, Y/N. That's insane!"

She looked down, her expression filled with shame. "I know. I know. But his parents think we're married. They don't know I'm just his secretary."

My eyes widened in disbelief. "His parents think you're married? That's ridiculous!"

Y/N nodded, her voice filled with resignation. "I know. But it's the only way to keep them from interfering."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Y/N, my sweet, innocent friend, was living a lie. And all because of her boss's meddling parents.

"What about Jungkook?" I asked, my voice trembling. "Does he know about this?"

Y/N hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, he knows. But he's okay with it."

"Okay with it?" I repeated, my voice filled with disbelief. "How can he be okay with this?"

Y/N shrugged. "He's a complicated guy. But he's the only one who understands."
I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Jungkook, the guy who had always seemed so distant and unattainable, was now living with Y/N.

And she was okay with it.
As I tried to wrap my head around everything Y/N had just told me, I realized that my friend was in a much more complicated situation than I had ever imagined. And I, for one, wasn't sure how I felt about it.

"I'm going to see Jungkook," I announced, my voice firm.

Y/N's eyes widened. "What? No, you can't!"

I shook my head. "I can and I will. I need to talk to him."

"But what if he gets mad?" Y/N asked, her voice filled with worry.

I smiled reassuringly. "He won't. I just want to understand why he's okay with all of this."

Y/N hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Okay, but be careful."

I thanked her and headed out the door, my heart pounding in my chest.

As I walked towards Jungkook's office building, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and apprehension. I had no idea what to expect, but I knew I had to do this.

I burst into Jungkook's office without knocking, my breath coming in ragged gasps. "Are you Jungkook?" I demanded, my voice filled with a mix of anger and desperation.

Jungkook looked up, his expression a mix of confusion and annoyance. "Yes, I am. Who are you?"

I ignored his question. "I need to talk to you," I said, my voice rising.

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed. "And why should I listen to you?"

I took a step closer, my eyes boring into his. "Because I know about you and Y/N," I said, my voice low and menacing.

Jungkook's eyes widened. "What do you know?"

I took another step closer, my voice dropping even lower. "I know everything."

Jungkook's face paled. "How?"
I smirked. "It doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm here now, and you're going to listen to me."

I stood in front of Jungkook, my voice steady despite the churning in my stomach. "Listen, Jungkook," I began, "I know Y/N is living with you for reasons beyond her control. But I want you to promise me that you'll take care of her."

Jungkook's eyes softened. "I promise," he said, his voice sincere. "I care about Y/N more than you know."

I nodded, relieved. "Good. Because if anything happens to her, I'll hold you responsible."

Jungkook smiled slightly. "You can trust me, Jennie."

I hesitated for a moment before nodding. "I hope so."

POV: Jungkook

As Jennie left, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. She had been so intense, so demanding. But I knew she was only looking out for Y/N, and I appreciated that.

I had never felt such a strong connection to anyone before. Y/N was more than just my secretary; she was my friend, my confidante, and the love of my life.
I knew that protecting her would be a challenge, but I was determined to do whatever it took. For her sake, and for mine.
