"arth!" rory says as arthur walked through the door after his trip to jersey. "did you have fun?" she asks, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"yeah it was fun to see the family." he smiles, gently kissing her on a lips. he couldn't mention ivy, rory would go ballistic.
rory pulls him in further as he leans more into the kiss, slowly sitting down on the sofa as she places herself on his lap.
"i missed you." she whispers in his ear, slowly kissing her way down his neck.
arthur grabs slightly onto her hips as he moans slightly.
"ives.."
rory stops as his eyes widen. oh shit.
"arth what did you just say?" she asks him, she knew she heard him correctly.
"please stop calling me arth." he says to her. he knew he was in shit now, and thought may as well have the whole rage packet.
rory just looks at him, not saying a word.
"first you moan her name and now i can't call you by my own nickname?" rory raises her voice, pissed off at her boyfriend. possibly even soon to be ex boyfriend.
"her nickname, it was never yours rory." he looks at her, slightly scared of what rory would say to this. he didn't know what to expect.
"how dare you arthur, how fucking dare you!" she shouts at him as he runs his hand through his hair. "i have been nothing but loving and you go and treat me like shit?"
he chuckles slightly at this. "loving?" he asks her, slightly cocking his head to the side. "to me maybe, but to ivy?"
"she told you she fucking loved you when we are together, what woman does that arthur?" she paces back and forth. she was so angry at him.
"first you told a news source that we dated and that she cheated on me, which is is just incorrect! we never dated rory ever, you almost ruined her career with that bullshit!" he frustratedly says to her.
rory doesn't even say anything, he chose her not ivy. why is he taking ivy side.
"so what if i almost ruined her career? she almost ruined our relationship." she sighs, shaking her head and throwing her arms dramatically in the air.
"you know what, you did that the second you made me pick between you and her." he says to her, almost immediately regretting his words. he loved rory.
he loved rory.
he loves ivy.
"you know what arthur? i'm done. i'm done with you being in love with someone else. go have ivy, fuck you!" she screams, storming out of his apartment.
he falls onto the sofa with his head in his hands.
"arthur i-" george slowly leaves his room, hearing the whole argument.
"shut up george, shut the fuck up. go have ivy, i know you want her. she clearly wants you too!" he shouts, turning to face george. his face falls when he realises what he's just done. he shouldn't have shouted at george.
"jesus arthur, she's in love with you not me. we're friends and nothing more i swear." he says, slowly approaching his friend.
"i'm sorry george, i've fucked everything havent i?" he asks as george shakes his head.
"no now please for the love of god go and get ivy. you're clearly soulmates if you believe in that shit!"
