"Mia, you're literally famous!" Emma squealed as she barged into my room with her laptop in her hand.
"I am?" I asked in surprise as I closed my notebook and placed it on my bedside table. I just finished the song I started writing weeks ago and I was quite satisfied with the outcome.
"Yes, you are," she smiled, sitting beside me. "The video of you and Austin has over a million views."
"No way," I answered, shaking my head. "Dez uploaded it just a week ago."
"Yes way," she said, placing the laptop on my lap.
It was true, it did have over a million views in its first week. A smile began to form on my face as I scrolled through the positive comments.
"People actually like me."
"Duh! They would be fools not to," Emma replied. "But let's get straight to business," she said, clasping her hands together.
I raised my eyebrow in confusion.
"Well, as your self proclaimed manager, I'm advising you to start a YouTube channel to upload singing covers and open an Instagram account to interact with your supporters."
I remained quiet for a minute and said, "I thought about it but I didn't have the confidence to start."
"That's why you have me. I'm giving you the push to start right now."
"Okay, you convinced me."
"Great, cause I already created the YouTube and Instagram for you."
"Of course you did," I muttered under my breath. "I'll film a couple of songs and send them to you for you to upload."
"Perfect!" she said, getting up. "I'll leave you to it."
"Emma?" I said just before she left the room.
"Yeah?"
"Thank you."
"It's no biggie, Mia. I'm glad that I could help," she said before leaving the room, closing the door behind her.
I began to set up my space as I warmed up my voice. I was planning to record three videos today and I already knew the songs I wanted to sing.
1. Lay All Your Love On Me by ABBA because I'm obsessed with the group and the Mamma Mia movie 2. Wide Awake by Katy Perry because Teenage Dream is my favorite album of hers 3. A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton because it always puts me in a good mood
I placed my phone on the tripod and began to record an intro.
"Hi, guys. I'm Mia and I'm grateful for all the lovely comments I've received on the video with Austin Moon. I decided to start a channel today to share my passion, singing, with you all. I hope you'll like it."
...
"It's looking good Mia," Zuri said as she watched the second video on her tablet.
"I agree. I'm in awe," Ravi said as we sat in the living room.
"That shouldn't be a surprise, it's Mia after all," Luke said, wrapping an arm around me.
"Awe, thank you," I smiled, kissing his cheek.
"Did you take the picture already?" Emma asked me as she wrote on a notepad.
"Yeah, Jessie helped me."
"Good," she said. "Here are your passwords so that you can interact with your supporters," she added, handing me the notepad.
"Thank you."
"I also created a business email in case legit people want to talk to you."
"That's amazing Emma but I'll take it from here. Since she isn't 18 yet, I'll take care of the legal stuff," Jessie said, handing us a snack platter.
"But-"
"No buts, you can help her with social media though."
"Fine."
I logged into my account and posted the picture I recently took.

"Your post is doing well, Mia. Don't forget to interact with your followers more by liking or replying to their comments," Emma said as she scrolled through her phone.
"Sure, thanks for the tip."
"Mia, I have a surprise for you," Luke whispered into my ear.
"What would that be?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Now that wouldn't be a surprise if I told you. We're leaving at 6pm."
"Oh? It's a date?"
"What do you think?" he asked with a playful eye roll.
"How should I dress?" I asked as I felt my cheeks heating up. I couldn't help but be excited about our first official date.
"Don't dress formal."
"Hmm, okay. I'll see what I can do."
"You'll look good in anything, love," he said, kissing the corner of my lip.
...
"Are we there yet?" I asked him as he drove us to our mystery destination.
"Not yet, just be patient."
"Do I at least look okay?"
"Yes, you look great," he said, lightly squeezing my knee with his free hand. "We're here."
"No way Luke, you've GOT to be kidding me," I said as I tried to contain my excitement.
"Yes way," he said, sending me a heartwarming smile.
"You're amazing!" I said, hugging him as tight as I could.
"I know, I know. Let's get in, the show is starting soon."
We got into the theater hall and took our seats.
"I still can't believe I'm about to watch a live Mamma Mia broadway show!" I said to myself.
Luke squeezed my hand and the show started shortly after.
I spent the entire time belting the songs at the top of my lungs along with the cast and the crowd as Luke laughed at me. The show ended after two hours and we drove back home.
"Gosh, you're so cute," he smiled as we sat on the terrace seats.
"Thanks so much, Luke. You're the best."
"It's nothing. I'm glad you had a great time."
"You did as well. I saw you humming along too," I teased.
"Okay, okay I had fun too," he replied. "Besides, I always have fun with you."
"Stop being so adorable!" I squealed as I kissed his face continuously.
