Mia's POV
By the time Luke went out of sight I told Shane goodnight and started to walk back to the penthouse, taking my own time as I walked.

When I got back, everyone, excluding Luke, were in the living room.

"What happened? Luke came back and went straight into his room," his siblings asked.

"Nothing, he expressed his feelings to me and Shane was there," I said and went to my room.

The remaining Ross kids entered the room.

"Did you choose between the two?" they asked.

"Nope, I couldn't do that. I was caught up in the moment."

"Just know that if you're going to choose, choose the one that's best for you," they said and left the room, closing the door on their way out.

I plopped on the bed and mumbled, "Why does my life have to be complicated?"

Two Weeks Later...

For the past two weeks, I have been avoiding both boys. For Luke, it was harder to do since we live in the same house but I tried to stay away from him. I didn't respond to Shane's messages and didn't go to the park. I was suffering from extreme boy dilemma.

Today was a different day. After a lot of thinking, I made my decision and I decided to tell them today. I took my phone and wrote a quick text to Shane.

I'm sorry that I went ghost on you but I have something urgent to tell you. Can you please meet me at the park today around 8?
-Mia.

Shane😛
Okay.

I smiled in satisfaction and took a piece of paper and started to write.

Luke, I'm sorry that I have been avoiding you for some time and I was hoping that we could talk. Can you please meet me at the terrace around 7?
-Mia.

I folded it and shoved the note under his door..

It was 7 and I was already on the terrace waiting for Luke. He came around 7:05 and sat on the table. I sat opposite him and took a deep breath before speaking.

"Luke, I am sorry about my behavior for the past two weeks. I was confused and needed to evaluate my feelings. I appreciate the nice speech you told me and it's one of the sweetest gestures anyone has done for me. I like you but I can't be with you, I'm sorry."

Luke nodded and stared into my eyes before he walked away. I immediately felt bad and began to make my way to the park.

I sat on the swing while I waited for Shane. He arrived and took the swing beside me. My heart was pounding excessively and my palms were sweating. I was a mess!

"Shane, I'm sorry for not speaking to you for the past two weeks. I had a lot of thinking to do. I admit, what you told me that day definitely caught me off guard but I took some time to process it.
Yes Shane, I would like to be your girlfriend."

I know, I know, I'm a horrible person but #Lia is going to happen. I already know how they're going to get together but know that it will take time to happen.
