Mia's POV

"Austin Moon is on his way up here!" Emma announced as we all ate breakfast.

"How did he get our address?" Jessie asked.

"I might have texted him a couple hundred times," she meekly answered.

"Careful, he might not like a fan girl with beefy hands," Luke joked as we chuckled.

"Well, it will be cool to have another musician in the house," Jessie stated.

"Who's the first one?" Ravi asked.

"Me of course," I answered. "Right, Jessie?" I teased.

She rolled her eyes in response before we heard voices exclaiming in the living room.

"Austin! You came back for me!" Emma smiled.

"Uh! Actually, I came for my shoe," he said, scratching his neck. "It's freezing outside and my foot is numb."

"Ooh! If frostbite causes one of your toes to fall off, I call dibs!"

"I told you New Yorkers are weird," Ally said to Trish.

"At least she's a fan," Trish replied.

"She might be a cannibal as well."

"Sorry, she's actually harmless," Jessie nervously laughed.

"Okay, then why is Austin not breathing?" Dez asked, pointing at Emma squeezing the life out of the star.

"Emma! Release! Hey!" she said, dragging Emma away from Austin.

"Well, I guess we should go back to that hotel room we don't have," Dez sighed.

"Maybe we can find four park benches close to each other, " Trish continued.

"And some lonely pigeons to keep us warm," Ally added.

If they needed a place to stay, why didn't they just say that?

"Wait! If you guys need a place to stay, we have plenty of room here. And we can fly you home in our private jet," Emma suggested.

"That is so nice of you guys. How could we ever repay you?" Austin asked.

"Um, she already told you... Give her one of your toes," Dez replied.

"Emma, you can't just go around inviting strangers to stay with us then offer to fly 'em home," Jessie said to her.

"You know, if we help them out, Austin might be willing to perform one of your songs and turn it into a big hit," Emma replied cunningly.

"Welcome, besties! The bedrooms are upstairs, the day spa is downstairs, and our butler will be happy to prepare anything you desire," Jessie smiled.

"No, I won't! Begone! No more kids!" Bertram complained.

"You do realise that Emma completely played you, right?" I whispered in Jessie's ear.

"Yeah..." she trailed off as her eyes widened in realisation.

...

"Watcha doin'?" Austin asked, startling me.

"I'm just writing a few lyrics," I casually answered. I randomly got inspired from a random wave of nostalgia and decided to pen them down.

"I heard from your sister that you are the best songwriter in this apartment," he smiled.
