(~Your POV~)

There's a loud ringing in my head. I can't move. A few moments go by and then I hear muffled shouting and sobbing.

"MAMA!"
.
"MAMA PLEASE WAKE UP!! PLEASE!"
.
"MAMA, PLEASE DON'T DIE! WE NEED YOU!"

A surge of adrenaline pulses from my soul throughout my entire body. I gasp for air, jolting awake. I breathe heavily with tears already rolling down my face. Serif's face is full of dirt and tears. He sees me and breaks down into full on sobbing. Roman is also crying, his eyes returned to their usual orange color. Both twins latch onto me like their life depends on it.

'We're.. We're alive..'

My whole body is aching. I could care less. Not one, but both of the twins appear to look completely fine.

'They're shaken up... but they're okay..'

Relief floods over me in the way of tears as I embrace them both. "Shh.. I-It's okay. Y-You're okay." I assure them both with countless kisses on their skull. I close my eyes and remind myself to thank whatever god spared us from death. Blue flowers surround us.

'Did they cushion our fall?'

It seems highly illogical but I gave birth to two skeletons. Nothing makes sense to me anymore and I just learned to accept it. I shakily sit up while keeping the boys in my lap. Stone pillars surround us in this cavern. Straight ahead, I can see a doorway.

'Where are we?'

There's only one way to find out and that's to keep moving.

'I'm lucky I didn't have a seizure.'

I suddenly have a "aw heck" moment. I fight myself not to curse with kids present. "Stars, I don't have my medicine." I hiss. Both boys look up to me. I forgot to take it this morning too. I look to Serif. Thankfully, I have his medication in my purse. I see it lying in the flower bed just a few feet away from me. I lean over and grab it, revealing Honey's journal, my phone, my wallet, and the two injection boxes still inside. I sigh a breath of relief.

'He has two weeks. We should be able to get out of here before then... Right?'

I surely hope and pray that it'll be enough. He doesn't have his magic distributor or his breathing machine. All that we have is his medicine. It should be enough to carry him through even if he's miserable.

'But as for me...'

I try not to let the twins see my fear. Last time I didn't take my medication as prescribed, when I was pregnant, I had a seizure after a week. I only have a few days. The chances of me having a seizure only increase as each day goes by. I could have one tomorrow for all I know. "Mama, what are we going to do? Without medicine, you both will..." Roman doesn't dare to finish his sentence. His body is trembling like a leaf. Serif looks equally as concerned, clinging to his brother. I pet their skulls gently.

"We have to keep moving." I state firmly. Despite the aching in my bones and the worried comments from the twins telling me not to, I push myself up.

'I have to get my family out of here. My phone still works, right?'

I grab it out of my purse and try to call Blue. There's no response, not even a dial tone. It's like the number isn't even in service.

'That's impossible. Blue would've told me if he changed his number. I just called him this morning!'

It must be something in this cave messing with the service. I growl in frustration. So calling emergency services is off the table. Serif stands and clings to my leg. Roman doesn't stand, staring at the floor, "I did this. I put us here." I look down and see the despair in his eyes. As far as I know, only Blue and I have been told his worst fear. Roman won't admit it to his brother, but his worst fear is being alone. As of right now, that's probably plaguing the heck out of him. He knows how much Serif and I rely on our medication. It literally helps us to survive. Whereas, he's perfectly healthy.

'He's already lost his dad and at any moment.. he could lose us too..'

"Roman. Pumpkin. Take my hand." I whisper and offer my hand to him. He looks up to me with shrunken pinpricks for pupils and tears falling from his eyes again. "We're not going anywhere. We're right here." I tell him gently but firmly. "Come on, bro. We're going to make it through this. Mama's right. We just have to keep moving and we'll find a way out." Serif chimes in. Roman shakily takes my hand and stands up, never letting go. I smile. "That's my brave boy~ Now, let's go."

I take Serif by the hand also. The three of us start walking until we make it through the doorway. A cat dog thing suddenly pops out of nowhere, shouting, "HOI HUMAN! I'M TEMMIE!" I flinch, taking a step back.

'It's a monster, Y/N. Chill.'

"Hi.. um.. Temmie.." I say slowly. Her eyes look to me and then the twins. "Never had humans fall down with monsters before. Do you know how things work 'round here?" I stay silent, trying to read her. It's a monster just lurking here in the dark. Of course I don't trust her.

"We're trying to get home." Roman says. "Yeah, do you know the way?" Serif adds. Both of the twins begin to come out from hiding. Temmie smiles wider, "I know what can help!" A circle of white specks of magic spawns by her side. "TEM FLAKES!!!! Catch as many as you can!!!"

Magic sparks within my soul. I may not use magic like a monster but I've learned much from Papyrus.

'If it's not green, don't touch it.'

The magic pellets come straight for us, but in a slow manner. She likely did this for us to catch them. I pull the boys away from them and purposefully dodge. Temmie's expression changes to one of annoyance. "Human, you're not helping. Catch TEM pELLetS!" Another wave comes towards us. My eyes glow (s/c). I raise my hand in an upright motion. (S/c) flames rise up from the floor and consume the pellets. By now, the twins understand that I don't like this. They hide behind me for protection. Temmie's face suddenly contorts into one of insane anger. "No collect tem pellets? THEN. DIE."

Temmie's pellets circle around us. The twins scream as they gradually come closer. We're trapped. My wings of fire summon to my back, covering over the boys. I will fight if I have to but protecting them from harm is my main priority. Temmie only laughs until suddenly she was hit by a ball of fire. The pellets disappear and so does Temmie.

"What a vile creature, attacking a helpless... human..." My eyes fix onto another monster. At first, I feel like my eyes are playing tricks on me. It's the former king of the monsters. "Asgore?" I ask confused. I've only met him once or twice, also through Sans and Papyrus.

'What is he doing here?'

My wings disappear. At least I know I can trust him. I'm actually pretty relieved to see a familiar face. Meanwhile, Asgore looks confused, "You know who I am? That is quite peculiar." His eyes fall onto the twins, "And where did you find these children? Surely, they wouldn't have come into the ruins without my knowledge." "They're mine. Asgore, you've met them before." I state firmly only for him to shake his head. "We've never met. You are the last human to fall for a very long time. Come, let us go to my home. It will be safer there." Asgore continue walking and gestures for us to follow.

'He doesn't know us? Fall into the underground? What is he talking about? The underground hasn't been inhabited for years. How could he-'

I look to Roman.

'What did he do?'

He also mentioned a name. Someone helped him, right? Frisk, that's what he said. I try to think on it but my mind draws a blank.

'Where do I know that name?'
