(~Honey's POV~)
"You w-want to do what?" Y/N gives me a warning glare. It's very effective. I find my soul crumbling over her mom stare. I'm not sure if it's because I'm terrified of her or I think it's hot. Maybe both. I spit out the most nonsense answer I can come up with, "I think it would be nice for the twins to see monster culture. Y'know, where the family originated."
Roman looks like he's vibrating from excitement, "Mama! Mama! I want to go!!!" Even Serif looks excited too. Y/N looks down at them, "Boys, l-l-living room." "But Mamaaaa..." Roman whines. It was when she gave them the same glare that Serif quickly dragged his brother into the other room. I prepare myself for the worst. Y/N looks back to me, saying firmly, "P-Papyrus, I-I already have a-a-a headache t-this morning. I really d-don't have the patience to-" My brother steps up. "Please Human! I think my brother is right. It will be quality time for your offspring. They do not know what it is like to live a normal monster life. I truly believe that we can show them that here."
It may be an odd hunch but I believe Y/N is hesitant to fight with my brother. There's no doubt that she'll argue with me like there's no tomorrow. Y/N stares at Blue in silence for a long while.
'C'monnnnn.. Get her, Bro!'
My brother on the other hand, she literally can't say no too. "They'll be safe under the watch of The Magnificent Sans! I promise." Sans adds. I see all anger fade from Y/N as she looks away from him. I fight myself not to smile.
'Oh we're winning her over~'
Y/N closes her eyes and huffs. "You're l-lucky that y-y-you're my best friend, B-Blue. Very lucky." "YeS!" I shout, victorious. The odds were against us but I'm now convinced that my bro can do anything. As long as it's related to winning over Y/N. Also, I just now realize that I kinda shouted without giving it a second thought. Now I have both Y/N and Sans' eyes on me. I laugh nervously and fight the urge to pull my hood over my head. Y/N gives me one more narrowed glance before she continues the conversation with Blue. "I h-have to give Serif his m-medicine first."
'Wait- medicine?'
"The kid looks healthy." I blurt out.
'I mean, he did look a little pale when we first met but he looks a lot better now?'
"You c-can't a-assume things you d-don't understand." She snaps back. Speaking of the little skeleton, Serif must've heard his name called. He slowly approaches and hides behind his mother. In his hands is a small and white prescription box.
(~Your POV~)
"Mama." Serif whispers. I bend down on one knee to face my son. I softly caress his cheek in my hand, whispering back to him, "You ready?" He hesitates and looks to Sans. "Mama, I want Uncle Sans to do it." Serif states firmly. Papyrus gives him a look of bewilderment. Sans stares at us blankly with no hint of his current thoughts.
'Why? He doesn't even remember us. He wouldn't know how to-'
Serif gives me a hopeful smile. As if he could read my thoughts, he answers, "I believe he knows how to. Just give him a chance. What's the worst that can happen anyway?" Serif has definitely developed a chill and laid back perspective like his father. I anxiously grab the box from him and tap it against my other hand a few times. I look to Blue. I'll have to trust him. I always have. After having convinced myself of that, I openly offer the box to him.
'Let's hope this works, Serif.'
Sans steps forward and grabs it from me. I find myself out of breath as he opens it. Honey chimes in, "Y/N, are you sure?" I nod. Honestly I'm not sure of this at all. Though, I want to get my answer just like Serif does. If nothing can bring him back, we'll have to accept that the people we loved are gone for good.
