Chapter 29

I'm so sorry for the long wait!!! Life is busy and I didn't have much time to write the past couple of weeks :(

We're going to skip a few weeks in the story soon and get the members home soon <3

The tour was ending and in two weeks the members would finally go home again after traveling across the world the past couple of weeks. It was always exciting to go home, but at the same time they were sad that they won't have any concerts in a long time. Well, what is a long time? They were going to land on a Friday in two weeks, and expected to be in the Hybe building Monday after that to work on their next comeback...

Yoongi and Namjoon especially had been working hard during their current concert tour to make new songs and it went rather well. They already had a few promising songs that they wanted to perfect once they were back in their studios and when the songs were ready, the choreographer could start his job. But with many talents in their group and among the staff, it would only be a matter of weeks before the members got a tight schedule again with countless dance practices and vocal lessons. And once the media caught attention that a new comeback was coming soon, more requests for interviews, photo shoots and talk-shows would follow. All fun stuff, but the boys didn't want to think about that right now. Not when they were utterly exhausted after spending months in hotels and flying across the world on weekly basis.

Everyone was starting to feel the effects of their monstrous tour since they had all lost weight despite eating quite well, but it was also noticeable with their staff. Make-up artists were less gentle with their make-up brushes, camera directors sometimes snapped at them to get their attention for a picture or video and the managers were all supporting dark circles underneath their eyes. Especially the last weeks had been stressful for everyone because of Taehyung's burn wound on his back and Jungkook's situation.

Seokjin's quarantine was still the most stressful part of the tour for their staff, since the eldest couldn't perform at all so a lot of his parts needed to be covered but Taehyung's injury was a close second. Unlike the eldest, Taehyung could perform despite his wound but he wasn't allowed to dance however. Thankfully, they didn't have to cover any singing parts because the boy had a lot of them, but he did also have a great part in their choreographs since he was part of the dance line. Together with the help of Hoseok, their choreographer had done some changes so Jimin could cover a few parts, but there was only so much the oldest maknae could do. Hoseok already had too many dance breaks and couldn't physically take anymore and the same counted for Jimin. And Yoongi, Seokjin and Namjoon weren't dancers by nature so they needed a lot more time to learn new dance moves, so they couldn't help as well. So the only option was to leave some gaps here and there, but in the end it didn't seem a true disaster considering everything. But still, the staff couldn't help but remain nervous and stressful despite all efforts.

For the members, the most stressful part of the tour was Jungkook. The toddler had been a joy and happy puppy for them all during their tour, because he could always make them laugh and cheer up whenever they were feeling down, but since Seokjin's quarantine they could tell that Jungkook wasn't doing well. After the quarantine his anxiety was spiking again causing minor panic attacks with certain triggers, but he sometimes also panicked out of nowhere. It was hurting to see their youngest so scared and demanding their love and comfort nonstop, and it only became worse after his accident in the playground with Taehyung and Jimin the other day. Loud noises were constantly setting Jungkook's on edge so the boy didn't seem to catch a break and be the playful little toddler he just to be. And then shit hit the fan when he got shouted at by the stylist.

Seokjin just wishes they were already back home because he almost couldn't take it anymore. There wasn't a single moment during the day he wasn't thinking about his baby brother and he constantly needed to check where he was. Jungkook didn't sleep with the other members anymore, because both he and Seokjin felt the need to stay together at all times, but the immense worries combined with Jungkook's restless nights made it impossible for Seokjin to get a proper night of sleep anymore. The toddler failed to sleep continuously and woke up a handful of times crying and sometimes he even had an accident in bed. If Seokjin was lucky, he managed to get Jungkook back to sleep within a few minutes, but there were also times that the toddler needed half an hour until his energy was drained again. But Seokjin never complained and stayed with him every single time of course.
