Locked In

Bruce's POV

I slowly woke up from that sleep I had. I felt some weight on my chest and I look down to see Elizabeth clingy on to me. I mean, she is very beautiful woman but I'm know I'm not her type. As I tired to move her, I accidentally wake her up.

"Morning, Bruce" She says tiredly.

"Good morning." I said to her.

"Hey, I have to go very soon." I say to her.

"Why?" She asked.

"It's too dangerous to around me. If I can borrow cash from you, I'll take the bus." I said to her.

"Of course, let me walk to the station." She said back.

"Ok."I said.

As I left the bedroom to give her some privacy so she can change into her clothes as I change into my clothes, wearing a button light grey shirt and some jeans. While I was waiting for her, I hear a knock on the door and I looked out the window to see Betty waiting for the door to be opened. I slowly opened the door.

"Hi Betty." I said to her.

"Bruce, where are you going?" She asked.

"I'm leaving." I said.

"Why?" She says.

"It's not safe for me to be here." I explained to her.

"Can I least join with you guys?" She says.

"Sure." I said, letting her in and closing the door quickly.

Then we heard Elizabeth coming down the stairs and was in shock.

"What are you doing here, Betty?" She asked.

"Well, I'm joining with you guys if that okay." Betty said.

"Bruce, are you ok with that?" She asked me.

"Yeah. I'm go first to make sure that the coast is clear." I said to the both of them.

As I leave the house through the back way. I see no one so I think we're good for now. I see Elizabeth & Betty coming out to join with me.

"Is everything okay." Elizabeth asked me.

"I think so." I said back to her.

As we walked to the bus station and we heard some thunder. Betty realized that she forgot something back at Elizabeth's house and she will be right back. As me and Elizabeth kept walking, she stop me for a second to fix my clothes.

"Come here." She says.

"What?" I said.

"I just wanna do this." She says back.

"Oh." I said back.

As she takes my hat off to fixed my hair a little bit.

"It's too tight." I said to her.

She laughed a little bit as we both stare at each other until I spotted an army soldier coming close and then I see two more coming.

"What?" Elizabeth says.

"They're here." I said to her.

"Elizabeth, look at me, look at me." I said to her again.

"Bruce?" She said.

"You have to go far away from me as you can! Don't argue with me, just go. Go!" I said as I start running.

Elizabeth's POV

"Bruce!" I say his name again.

As I turn around to see many US army humvee arrived along with a lot of US soldiers followed the behind them Then Betty joined me and I questioned her.
