Mikey's POV.

It was spring, and I was walking through a park near my house when I noticed a group of people surrounding a little girl. She was holding something against her chest, and the group of people was trying to get it from her. The little girl looked cute. I walked over there to help her, and some turned around when they heard me. "Shit, it's Sano-kun from 3rd grade. He is two years older; we should go!" One of them yelled, and they looked into my direction before running away. I didn't even look at them; I was only looking at the cute, small girl in front of me. I walked over to her and bent down in front of her. "Hey there." I said, and she looked up at me. "I won't do anything to you; you can open your hands now." I told her, as I was also curious, what was in her hands. She didn't say anything and only looked at me with big eyes before she opened her hands, and a small bird was in there. His wings didn't look good; he probably wasn't able to fly.

I looked at her hand confused. "I found him; my classmates wanted to throw him into the river. He can't fly, and he shouldn't die at a young age." She said and petted the small animal. "Pretty." I mumbled when I looked at her talking about the bird. She looks so innocent and kind. I held out my hand, and she took it, so I easily pulled her from the ground. "My name is Sano Manjiro." I told her proudly and looked expectantly at her. "My name is Y/n N/n, but please call me Y/n." She said it with a sweet smile. I then looked at the bird. "Are you going to keep it?" I asked her, and she nodded. "Yeah, and I decided I would name him after the boy who saved me. I will call him Miro. From Manjiro." She said and again gave me one of these smiles that made me blush hard. "Are you okay, Sano-kun?" She asked worriedly, and I only nodded with still a red face. "I'm okay, but please call me by my first name, Y/n-chin." She nodded, and I gave her a big grin. "From now on we're friends, Y/n-chin." I said and grabbed her hand, dragging her along with me.

"Damn it, Y/N, please be alive; I want to see you're smile again." Mikey muttered under hid breath.

"Before we even got to the hospital, her pulse..." "Damn it!" Mitsuya yelled, with his fist against the wall. Mikey arrived, and everyone looked at him. "Y/n-chan is..." "Mikey!" "Mikey I-!" They all yelled. "Shut up, all of you. You need to keep quiet in a hospital." He told them and walked past them. "Where is the waiting room?" He asked. He then walked over to the other group of people who stood in front of her pastient room. Draken was also there. comforting Emma, while he also didn't look good. Mikey patted Emma's shoulder and stood in front of the door. Operation in Progress. Was a big red sigh over the door. "Y/n-chin. Has always been a fighter. She's not going to die here. She promised we would get married in the future. She's not going to die here. So, Emma, Mitsuya, Peh-yan, Takemitchy. Believe in Y/n-chin." He sat on a bench and looked at the door. "She'll pull through." Everyone calmed down and even stared, smiling.

A few hours passed when the light finally got out. Everyone came over, and the doors opened, reversing 2 doors. "We managed to save her life. The operation was a success." Everyone started screaming out in happiness, and even Mitsuya, who didn't show much emotion, started crying a little bit while he smiled in relief. "Shut up, you guys! Let's go let the guys outside know!" He yelled, and they all started running outside.

While the others celebrated, no one noticed how Mikey left them to go outside. He was currently leaning against the wall of the hospital and sat onto the floor while he let the tears stream down his face. "Thanks goodness. Y/n-chin." He said it in a shaky voice while cring. "Don't make me worry like that, love." He mumbled, and Takemichi, who heard it, smiled to himself.
