Chapter 25

There she was, laying on the ground without moving. Takemichi and Emma towering over her figure. Emma was crying and trying to shake her awake while Takemichi held her head in his hands. "Y/n." Takemichi mumbled numb. "Y/n!" He then shouted. "Y/n! Y/N!" Over and over again. "Y/N! WAKE UP!" He yelled. "If you die here in the past, I can't save you!" He said, and Emma looked at him shocked with big eyes as tears wouldn't stop. "Y/N!" He yelled again, and Emma kneeled next to her figure.

"Y/n?" Mikey asked. He was standing in front of them. Takemichi holding her in his arms, and Emma crying her heart out. Mikey stood there with big eyes as he watched Y/N with blood running down her forehead laying on the ground. He was paralyzed just standing there. "I'm sorry, Mikey." Takemichi said quietly and looked to the ground as tears formed. "What happened?" Mikey asked, his words slowly getting faster out of his mouth. "A bike... A bike road down on us and... Y/N was... Kisaki did it." Takemichi said, shaking. "Huh?" Mikey said and looked at his girlfriend; it's like he finally came out of the shock, and he ran to his girlfriend. "An ambulance," Takemichi said and got out his phone.

"The hospital is not far. Give her to me." Mikey said and lifted her up. With one hand under her legs and one to steady her head. "I'll go on ahead and tell them!" Inupi yelled, and along with Emma, they started running to the hospital. Mikey took her and held her close to his chest. He then started walking in a fast manner to the hospital with Takemichi next to him. "Mikey." Y/N mumbled against his chest, and Mikey looked down at her with pure worry. "Y/n!" Takemichi said, "Huh, I can't move." She mumbled "Oh, yeah. I was..." She trailed off remembering the biker. "Do you remember, Y/n? When you were five, you saw those cats and chased after them to cuddle them. You fell down from the jungle gym and broke your leg. This was the first time I carried you like this." He said with a small laugh that just sounded like pain. "Hey..." She started, and Mikey looked down at her. "Yeah?" "If anything happens to me..." She started "Hey, don't be silly. Nothing is going to happen to you." "I love you, you know." She said it with a soft smile. "Tell me later again." He said and kissed her forehead. "Takemichi," she said, and Takemichi quickly walked up to her. "Yeah?" "Take care of Mikey for me, will you?" She asked, and tears fell down her face as she gave him a smile.

Her head fell back, and Mikey immediately stopped walking. "Y/n? Y/N!" He started screaming. "We all really love you, you know? Not all would ever say it, but you are the most precious to us. Y/n?!" He said and slowly started rambling. "Takemitchy?" Mikey said. "Yes?" "Put my jacked over Y/N. Y/n is kind of cold somehow." He said. Sweat running down his face, his eyes widening, and a panicked expression. "Mikey!" Takemichi yelled out in pain as he watched them both. "It's my dream; we'll be married in the future. We'll have a house with a big garden. Takemichi will visit, and we will totally make fun of him. We're going to remember all those things we did years ago and tell the stars everyone. We'll invite every founding member along with Emma. We're going to have a blast," Mikey said, and the tears are now not stoppable.

A big sigh over a big door. Draken was staring at is in shock. "What the hell is this?" He mumbled. Mikey was sitting on a bench and leaned against a wall. His face is less emotional. He was just paralyzed. He was looking to the floor without moving. His mind was blank. Emma is sitting on the other side of the hallway, crying her heart out. Draken walked over to Mikey and Takemichi. "Mikey. Come outside for a moment." Draken said. Still Paralyzed Mikey stood up and followed Draken like a zombie.

"What happened?" Draken asked. Mikey just looked to the ground, still not showing a single emotion. "How did this happen?" Draken asked again. Still nothing. Draken approached Mikey and punched him across the face. "You were there. So how did this happen?" He said and again Mikey blankly looked at the floor, not giving a single tone. "Hey...Mikey. What the hell were you doing, you piece of shit?!" Draken yelled. Takemichi fell to his knees as he tried to explain to Draken. "Draken It's my fault! I was closest to her, but I failed to protect her. It's not Mikey's fault! It's my fault! So Draken, if you're going to blame anyone, blame me! At the grave of his brother Shinichiro, we ran into Izana Kuropkawa. And Mikey told me to get Y/N and Emma away from there! He left them in my care! So you're hitting the wrong guy when you're hitting Mikey!" He yelled. Another punch in Mikey's face. "I thought you made TOMAN so you could protect all of us!" And another punch and another, another. "Draken stop!" Takemichi yelled and grabbed him from behind. "Pah-chin got arrested! And Baji died! Kazutora got arrested! And now Y/N!" He yelled as he went over and over again. Punched Mikey in the face and Takemichi with his ellboy also in the face. Both boys were now lying on the ground, without moving. "Even Y/N," Draken mumbled. "Get ahold of yourself." Takemichi mumbled, "Draken. The Draken I know, the Draken I know has it in him...to overcome this and accept what happens." He said, and it was silent.

Draken was leaning against a wall in a kind of cafeteria Mikey sat not far away on a chair in front of him, Takemichi. "MIkey, I realize it's inconsiderate to talk about this now, but today's our showdown with Tenjiku; without your order, we can't make our move. Mikey...The one who killed Y/n-chan was...Kisaki! Knowing him, he'd done something cunning to make sure he doesn't get caught. Mikey...I'll fight Tenjiku even if I have to do it alone." He said, but it was like talking to a wall. Mikey looked at the ground, not moving, not blinking. His mind is blank.

Takemichi left

-2 hours later

"Um," Hina said, making Draken look up at her. "Can I...talk to you for a moment?" She asked, unsure. The boys were quiet, and Mikey still hasn't moved. "Takemichi, Takemichi thought he could save Y/n." She said. Draken's eyes widen "Hey! This is not the time to talk about this! Have you lost your mind!?" He yelled at her. Draken looked to the ground. "It doesn't make any sense. Not just Takemitchy, but Hina too. Why would you talk like that at a time like this? Just leave us alone." Draken said. "It's not just Y/N. There are lots of people that Takemichi believes he has to save." "So what about it?" Draken asked again. "I... died. Twelf years in the future, I died." Hina told them. Their eyes widen in shock. "Takemichi came from the future to keep that from happening; I know it sounds unbeliveable. But it's true. He's desperated. He knows all your futures. He wants to save all of you." Mikey looked up in shock right at her. And he remembered all the times Takemichi saved one of them. "But I can't do anything to help him," Hina said. Mikey slowly stood up, determination on his face, and without a word, Hina and Draken made their way to the fighting scene.
