Chapter 16

I usually don't attend fights. I really don't. I'm there to look out for the members, but not while fighting. I know most of the members and help them with personal issues or when they're too scared to tell something to a commander. They usually talk to me first. I don't fight. I wasn't planning on going to the fight. I talked about it with Mikey, and we said I wouldn't attend. Until I got a message from Takemichi just a few minutes before the fight would be behind.

Y/n-san, I can't tell you how, but I know something bad is going to happen in the fight. I need you to save Mikey. Please, you're our only hope.

Is he fucking with me right now? I was right now running to the fighting scene after I received that message. I just started ruining. It's stupid, but Mikey trusts him, and Takemichi has saved my life before. I just trust him with this. Just next corner, and I'm there. I arrived fast. I ran through a huge door. But when I saw the scene, I stopped breathing.

"MIKEY!" I yelled over the whole place. He was on top of a few cars, and Kazutora punched him with an iron bar against his head. Mikey fell to the ground, and Blood was on the iron bar. Draken also yelled his name; I guess that's why he didn't hear me, but of course others did. Just a moment later, Smiley and Mitsuya were by my side. I looked up. Mikey got held down by two people while Kazutora pushed him with that iron bar over and over again. "Mikey!" I yelled and tried to get forward. "Make way for her!" Mitsuya yelled. They knew if Mikey knew I was here, he would have a stronger urge to fight. Smiley and Mistuya helped me get through a lot of people. "Mikey!" I yelled again. I saw his body stiffen. He suddenly lifted his leg and slammed it with a guy holding on his leg right into Kazutora's head. They all fell down, but of course Mikey was still weak. While most of the people were still in shock, I made my way further. I arrived at the huge trash mound and started climbing up there, while Mitsuya held the guys away from me who tried to grab me.

Mikey then slowly fell to the ground, and I just got there. I ran to him, bent down, and now I was kneeling in front of him, with his head on my shoulder and my arms wrapped around him. He was very weak. To top that, about 20 guys started yelling and ran to us, trying to get to Mikey and me to kill him. A guy with a baton jumped right at us, ready to slap Mikey. I immediately took Mikey's head into my arms and held him close to my chest. If I had to, I would just take the hit. "Y/n-chin. Go away from here." I heard the weak voice from Mikey, but I didn't move an inch. The boy jumped ready to hit me when someone stepped in front of me and punched that man in the face. "Tokyo Manji Gang, 3rd Division, Captain Kisaki Tetta. Our Divisin will personally take charge of protection for our commander and our first lady." Kisaki spoke. Everyone started cheering. I still had Mikey in my arms when I heard another familiar voice. "Kisaki!" Baji yelled and also punched him across the face with an iron bar. "Kisaki, I'm going to jack up your face so bad, no one'll recognize you!" He yelled. But got grabbed from one of Kisaki's men and thrown down. I quickly looked down at Mikey. "Mikey, are you okay?" I asked and gently went through his hair. He opened his eyes and looked at my worried ones. "Y/n-chin." He said and slowly started sitting up. "Why are you here?" He asked me in a whisper. "Why am I here?! Look at you! You could've died here!" I yelled at him with pain in my voice. He took my face in his hands and put our foreheads against each other. "I'm sorry, love." We then separated when we heard another scream. "BAJI!" I looked up the same as Mikey, and we noticed Baji, who fell to the ground. Next, I only heard Kisaki's voice as Mikey stood up, pulling me along. "Yeah, Kazutora's definitely got some screws loose. I see, he brought Baji into Valhalla so he could finish him off himself. And to top that, they wouldn't even hesitate to kill the first lady," he said. Mikey let go of my hand and stared, walking down there. "Right? Commander?" Kisaki asked, and Mikey looked furious, but he spoke calmly. "As soon as you got out of jail, I thought about killing you. The one who kept talking me out of it was Baji. Baji told me you just wanted to make me happy. And that's why you couldn't accept it. Even if he ended up killing my brother in order to make sense to him, he had to make me his enemy." Mikey spoke as he walked up to Kazuto. Apparently that wasn't enough; you make it a goal to hurt Y/n-chin." He was just emotionless. "Mikey," Draken said. "Ken-chin, the fight's already over." Wow, woah, woah, The fight's over?! Where the hell do you think we are, Mikey? You don't get to decide that shit!" Hanma yelled, but a second later, Mikey's foot was in his head, and Hanma was on the ground. "There. It's over." Mikey again said emotionsless. I slowly walked after him.

The Valhalla members all feared for their lives and started running away. Mikey approached the only Valhalla member that was left. Kazutora. "Betrayal is human nature. Let's end this, Mikey. Either you die...or I die." Kazutora said. One punch, and he was on the ground. "If all that's in your head is destroying important things, I'll destroy you right here and now. and another kick in the side. I went to approach Mikey, but Draken held my arm. " Don't, Y/n, He's not in the right mind right now." Another kick and another. I tried to break free, but it didn't work. Mikey's going to kill him. I wanted to yell out, but someone else interrupted me. "Mikey!" I heard Baji yell. "You got mad for my sake, thanks." He said and walked towards Mikey and Kazutora while Mikey walked over to him. Baji walked past him as he approached Kazutora. "I won't die. This isn't enough to kill me. Don't worry about it, Kazutora. I won't die at your hands!" He yelled, took out a knife, and stabbed himself. "Baji!" Chifuyu and I yelled. I was in shock and couldn't move, but Takemichi and Chifuyu ran over to him.
