4:30 AM
"Ling?? Are you in there??"
I woke up to the sound of excessive knocking on my door. I tried to stand up, but I couldn't. Arms were around my waist, holding me tight.
"Seungcheol," I shook him. "Either let go or wake up yourself." I groaned.
"Send them away." He whispered in a deep morning voice
Wow
I made my way to the door and opened it to reveal a messy half-asleep Dokyeom and a messy Hoshi.
"What do you guys want?" I asked, a little irritated.
"Is Seungcheol with you?" He asked desperately.
Something's wrong
"Why? It's 4AM for God's sake. What do you need him for? Aren't you guys free today? Get some rest." I leaned towards the doorframe and closed my eyes.
"I'm here. What's wrong?" A sleepy Seungcheol appeared behind me, still in his formal clothes.
"Nothing, we just wanted to make sure you were safe and here. But wait. This isn't your room." Hoshi was fully awake now.
"So what?" He stood his grounds.
They were both taken aback. "Nothing, you should change clothes, though." And with that, they left.
He pulled me in and closed the door.
"Go back to sleep, I'll go back to my room,"
"Should I follow you there?" I asked. Eyes closed, head on his chest.
"No, just go to sleep. I'll see you in the morning." He led me to my bed.
"Let's meet later in the day, I need sleep. I am tired." I snuggled into my bed.
"Whatever you want." He caressed the hair out of my face.
"You smell so good. The entire bed smells like you." I put my face into his pillow and inhaled the smell.
"Goodnight, Ling."
"Goodnight, Seungcheol."
2:25 PM
I woke up, washed up, went through profiles and cases, drank tea, ate brunch, and got ready to go out.
"When did you say they'd go out?" I asked Jungkook
"Around 2:30" he answered
"Oh, I see one of the doors open. It's Woozi. I'll leave now."
"Stay safe."
The encounter needs to look as natural as possible.
I put on my headphones and walked out.
"Oh, Ling, Hey," he greeted me. I pretended not to hear.
"Oh my god! Woozi, you scared me." I acted startled.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to." He scratched the back of his head and smiled.
"It's okay, I'm partially to blame too. I was blasting music in my headphones. Where are you off to?" I walked closed.
"I need to sign some contracts along with Hoshi and Seungcheol. It's from yesterday's meeting. Apparently, some things went sideways around 4AM."
Around the time Hoshi and Dokyeom came.
"Is everything alright? I hope it's nothing too serious. If you guys need any help. I'm always here." I smiled
