A week has passed since Chie visited Rui's house, and it's already a sunny Sunday for them. They're currently alone at a bus station, waiting. Chie has tight gym clothing and her usual accessories (her gold medal, hand wraps and black belt), while Rui is wearing his usual high school uniform. Chie looks comically conflicted and confused.
_Chie: So... Hisawa-kun, where are we going exactly?
_Rui: Hm?
_Chie: I thought I was going to train at your house, but instead we're here at the bus stop. Why?
_Rui: Hoh... Wait... Wait you really thought we were going to train at my house?
_Chie: I mean, that's not what you do?
_Rui: Oh no not at all, I would end up destroying everything and my parents would yell at me.
Chie remembers the fight with the ghost, where he left the entire classroom frozen.
_... Yeah, I can see why...
_Rui: Besides, we need a veery big and open space if we want to train correctly. Therefore, right now we're heading to the outskirts of the city...
We're going... To my secret place!
_Chie: ...? Oh really, you have like a hideout?
_Rui: No, it's outdoors, but nobody besides me goes there, so don't worry.
_Chie: Huh, but it's outdoors, how are you sure nobody goes?
_Rui: Because I have a bunch of my stuff spread around there, so I would notice if anyone tamperes or moves around things.
_Chie: Oh well, if you say so.
_Rui: Yeah, don't worry, it'll be really cool!
_Chie: Sure, sure...
The bus finally arrives, and both aboard up. As the bus leaves, they go from the center to city, to its outskirts. Eventually, they're now driving through a rural highway. Their final destination...
IS A BUS STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF A FORESTY ROAD!
Eventually, the bus departs with both teenagers outside standing still. Rui is delighted, but Chie is mega confused.
_Chie: What the... What the hell are we doing in a place like this?
_Rui: Well, isn't it obvious? It's because my secret place is around here!
_Chie: Thats not the point! You just brought me to the middle of nowhere, dammit! How far are we from the city anyway?
_Rui: Hmm, perhaps 2 hours.
_Chie: TWO HOURS?! DUDE!
_Rui: Yup, that's how far we are.
Awkard silence, but Rui keeps his childish attitude. He then starts walking between the trees, into the forest!
_Rui: Welp, we got this far already, so let's just go at once, shall we?
_Chie: ...Hey... hey where are you going?!
_Rui: Come on, hurry!
_Chie: ... (oh for fucks sake)
She keeps doubting, as Rui keeps venturing further into the forest. He continues, he's almost no longer visible, and Chie is really thinking of leaving him and waiting for the opposite bus to return to the city. However, she remembers Mason's words:
" He's somewhat dumb, but you should be patient with him... you're his first ever female friend, so he doesn't wanna mess up"
_Chie: ... I'm definitely kicking his balls if he tries something funny.
