Chapter Sixteen

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

• AUTHOR'S POV •

Both had returned home, after their appointment with the doc, Tanya.. But none of them were at peace, though their room where they were sitted now was quiet but the atmosphere too knew about the tension going on..

Even after so much of silence between them, there was no silence in their minds which was just repeating the words of the doc.. Both of their mind was now only wandering around what should they do.. It was as if all the sound had been blocked except for the sound that was repeated in their minds,

Congratulations, Karan and Teju, you gonna be parents, Teju you are two weeks pregnant!!

As much as the news made them happy the moment they listened to it, but the very next moment there happiness vanished into the thin air when they got reminded of the strain in their relationship..

Though they were happy, but still somewhere both of them knew what were the chances that could happen in the future.. For Karan, he was dwelling into the deep maze of thoughts that though the baby would bring loads of happiness in their life but currently they have nothing to be happy due to the mishap done by him.. He don't want Teju to be with him or forgive him just for the sake of the baby..

While for Teju, she knew what bringing the baby would invite.. It's the truth that baby couldn't earn a forgiveness to Karan, and she won't do that just for the sake of baby but she at the same time want the baby to have the love of family, the same love which she received from her both maternal and paternal family.. And she even wants the baby to have the love of his or his father, the same way she received from her baba.. She wants best for her baby but without sacrificing her self respect..

After maintaining the silence for like an eternity, finally Karan thought to reduced the tension in their surrounding and spoke,

"Umm, Teju, if you want we can abort this pregnancy..Like I know that we have lot on our plates due to the mistake I done but what I want is that you don't forgive me because of this baby of ours..Like I know that you won't sacrifice your self respect for that but still I don't want you to do anything just because of our baby.."

But hearing this from Karan, only ignited the anger in her body and hence she reacted the same way,

"How dare you say or even think about abortion..You, Mr.Kundra,here have no say about this..This is my body and the baby which is growing inside is mine too, and hence I would like to decided if I wanna bring it to the world or not..Dare you say anything about abortion.."

Seeing her this angry, really scared the shit out of him.. Like really...Though he always knew that she gets out of control when she is angry, and ahe gets angry at very rare times but when she is angry, she is the scariest creature in the world, according to him...

And hence, witnessing her in the same form right now, Karan replied being scared,

"Teju, I know that..And I even know how painful is abortion..I was just saying that so that you don't have to make any compromise.."

"So in that case, Mr.Kundra,you need to make sure that I don't do any compromise.." Teju replied, still being feisty..

"Okay, I would make sure of it..But do you really wanna have this baby??" He asked being cautious that she doesn't get angry..

"I really don't know..Like it's not like I don't wanna have a baby right now..We both know that this wasn't planned..But the fact of matter is, now it is there and to abort it, I don't think that's okay..like I can't really kill my baby,right?..but at the same time, I want best for my baby..like I want my baby together the same love with I got my parents,and the family,both maternal and paternal..And hence,it's making me think about it.." Teju replied being all calm, making a confusing frown marry Karan's crown..

"Teju, Even I don't know what we should do..like my heart too wants the baby but at the same time it wants that you don't have to do any compromise..And hence,I want you to decide,what do you wanna do..and anyways it isn't that we couldn't try fir it in the future after resolving our misunderstanding.." Karan said..

"Being confident that you would surely win my trust back, aren't we??" Teju said.. While Karan nodded and said,

"The way you frame na,the same way I would like to say that am Tejasswi Addict..I can't let you go, not at least without trying to sort out things..Yeah but at the end if you decide to leave, I can't stop you,for your own good.."

And then the rest of the day went as it is with both thinking about the baby.. The day had finally came to an end and elder Kundra's with Veda too had returned back home from Teju's home as they went to visit them..

After whole day, Teju had finally came to a conclusion about the baby.. They were having dinner currently when both Karan and Teju's phone rang and upon checking, they found out it to be their managers, which was regarding some project and after done with all the information, they both asked for some time and then ended the call.. And they all had their dinner in peace..

Upon going into their room, settling the bed, Karan spoke,

"Are you gonna sign for the show??That, Laughter chefs??"

"Are you??" Teju rather than replying asked back..

"I am thinking to bag it as the concept sounds interesting.." Karan replied..

"Even am thinking about the same..And anyways, currently I wanna work,as of for first three months but after then I wanna focus on setting my fashion brand rather than TV.." Teju replied..

Firstly, Karan nodded but then realising what she spoke, he asked in an emotional voice,

"That means, we gonna keep the baby??" While Teju nodded..

"Think once more..as after first trimester,we can't abort it and them you may find yourself in a situation you can't get out of.." Karan said..

"When you were confident about making me forgive you and making everything between us right,I thought you would surely do that but here you are only being in the confusion about the baby.." Teju said while Karan immediately bobbed his head in no and said,

"Nah, I would win you back for sure but now it would be along with the baby.."

Tadda.. Here's the update..

Ik may if you don't want to have this pregnancy track but believe me that was planned to be happen from the beginning.. Though this show idea was given by one of the reader in the comments and I found it to be good and hence used it...

You guys don't worry about teju forgiving Karan just because of the baby.. That won't happen.. But you guys acn surely give some ideas about what Karan should do to gain her forgiveness.. Would be eager to read your views about that..
