CHAPTER NINETEEN

The whole day went on and luckily Teju was very much better now compared to morning.. And anyways she hasn't puked after eating, so that was much of relief for everyone, specially Karan and obviously Teju.. However,it doesn't ignore the fact that she still is contemplating to eat, scared of being puking as that was really horrible..

While Karan too was with her whole of the day but still somewhere he was lost, as if something was worrying him and it didn't went unnoticed by Teju and hence she made a mental note to have a talk with him after dinner... They all had dinner in peace except for the excitement that Veda had shown throughout the dinner upon learning about the upcoming baby of her Mamu and Mami!!

After dinner, though Teju wanted to help Mumma with some after chores but owing to her health, Mumma sent her away to the room directly to have some rest as they even have shoot tomorrow at afternoon, while Karan chose to help Mumma...

Mumma too noticed him being worried and hence, she asked him about the same but him being him, replied,

"Nothing Mumma..just some work stress.."

"Lie to the one who don't know you, I have birthed you, so I know smallest of your reactions..so now just shoot.." Mumma retorted..

"Nothing Mumma, just being worried about Teju..Like she was already upset with me misunderstanding her and then not talking to her out of guilt and now,in the time where she needs me most, she has to even think about talking to me, comfort is toh long lost forgotten thing..Like meri wajah se uska stress double ho gaya hai..And on the above of that, her health..Like the way she wasn't even able to have water in the morning,literally broke me..like I was so helpless,even after knowing why that happened I couldn't do anything and then she can't even take any medicines as per her doc..So am just worried how the things would get further..How, I wish I didn't do that.." He said..

"Sunny, what's done is done..you can't change anything but what you can do is make her believe that you won't leave her ever..you would always stay beside her..You know, she isn't only upset that you didn't trust her but she at the same time is worried that you might leave her anyday believing someone who doesn't even matter in your life..And about pregnancy,Sunny, every girl goes through this when she is welcoming a new life in her and her partner's live..just stay beside her,and behave with her genuinely and see that how she would trust you again..how she would get comfortable again with you..So, now don't worry about that.." Mumma explained to him with much patience..

While Karan nodded and then went to his room when mumma said him to do so.. Upon reaching their room, he found Teju sitting on the bed being busy in her phone and hence he went towards the closet to get freshen up..

On the other side, Teju sat on the bed while lost in her thoughts processing the talk that Karan just had with Mumma.. Yeah, she happen to hear that as she had went outside to get her some water but then when she heard Karan talking to Mumma, she listened to what he had to say and then what Mumma explained to him and when she heard Mumma telling him to go to the room, she quickly came back.. And from that time, her mind is just roaming around that thing..

Soon, Karan too came out and then sat beside her and that's when Teju said,

"You know,like it's quote normal to face this things in pregnancy like the thing that happened today's morning..So yeah, I was just saying that, it's normal..yeah that's normal.."

While Karan knew that she was saying this to him, so that he doesn't worries about her health and that guilt thing and that's when he can't help but smile at the way she said that but then controlled his smile.. And then, he spoke,

"Yeah,doc too said the same..i know, you know??"

His tone was quite teasing and she too knew that but she knew better than to smile and hence, spoke something that drained all the colours of his face,

"Pata hai, normal hai toh subah se yeh murjhaye hue phool ki tarah kyu ghum rahe the??aaye bade, I know, you know, wala!!!"

Though his smile vanished but soon that small smile was replaced with a big one when he processed her words and got to know that she did noticed him and his worries..

"Ab kya karu, jab mera phool murjhaya hua tha toh mai murjha hi jaunga na!!" He said to her with a wink while she bit her inner cheeks to resist her smile and said,

"Way to cheesy,to be you Mr.Kundra.."

"Nah,trust me,it's not..Atleast not when my girl likes cheese!!" He replied again with a wink while she had a hard time hiding the smile that was making it's appearance which didn't went unnoticed by him..

But then when he noticed that now she sat in the silence, he inched closer to her and made her lie down, covering her with duvet,adjusting the temperature of Air conditioner and then kissing her forehead, he said,

"Sleep now, it's late..And it's not good for my both the babies to be up for so long.."

"You too sleep.." She said and hold his hand giving him a hint to sleep on the bed itself rather than taking the couch or making an extra bed on the floor and he did that gladly..

"Win my trust back, please.." She whispered and if nit the utter silence in the room, he wouldn't have heard that but now he did and hence once again kissed her forehead and muttering, "soon"; both drifted to the much need sleep.. Though being away physically from each other but being a bit closer emotionally today!!
