CHAPTER NINE

• AUTHOR'S POV •

After spending wonderful time last night, all went to sleep only to get up in four hours as mister Sun was on time for his duty, the next day.. Sun with it's grazing rays brought a lot of hustle bustle in Kundra mansion as today they all are departing..

After having their breakfast, they all left for the airport.. While the flight to Mumbai was earlier compared to the one to States and Chicago and hence, elders and our young, newly married couple with Veda boarded their flight..

Veda, being excited to spend time with her Mami, had not left her alone for any moment and she still is sitting between Teju and Karan..

"Mami, we would do have so much fun and also play loads of pranks..Okay??" Said Overexcited Veda..

"Haan, my princess we would...For now you catch some sleep so that you won't be tired once we land.." Said Teju as she saw droopy eyes of excited Veda..

And Veda being Veda, she bent towards her Mami and snuggled into her warmth and let the sleep take over her while Teju kept caressing her hairs..

"So,we are getting papped??" Asked Teju to Karan, once Veda slept..

"That's what papa said as rumours are on high right now.." Replied Karan..

"Umm..do you wanna make it official??" Asked Karan, a bit hesitantly..

"Making it Official or not but the truth will still be the same that we are married..So i don't think so that's a problem.. " Teju Replied..

"But you do know right that we need to pretend normal in front of them??Like we used to be earlier.." Said Karan..

"As far as I know, I am good at acting,atleast no one could get that.." Replied Teju as usual in the cold manner while Karan could do nothing rather than nod at her words..

Yeah, so it was after about three to four days when they had left for Punjab when their wedding rumours fuelled up.. But they made no attempt in clarifying it.. But from past few days, the rumours are getting too much air and hence all of them that is all of the adults came to a conclusion to make it official by giving a public appearance at airport, for which both Karan and Teju need to behave same as they used to..

As soon as they landed, and exited the airport, the papa were already waiting for them and seeing their power couple together, they all had went crazy..

"Arey, aapne toh shadi karli..." One of the pap said..

"Congratulations bhai-bhabhi.." Other pap said..

"But aapka toh break up ho gaya tha na,apne statement bhi diya tha fir shadi??" Asked one other pap..

While Karan who had engulfed Teju in his embrace remained the same way, even teju had wrapped her arms around him as today the paps were quite high in number.. Thankfully they had made their parents and Veda exit from other side with help of parvez and ajmal bhai as there were no paps there... Hearing this break up question, both of them laughed off while Karan replied,

"After break up marriage hai yeh.."

"Yup, we are celebrating our break up by marrying.." Was Teju's reply..

At their replies even paps laughed it off.. But then they demanded for sweets which but obvious TejRan had arranged via parvez and hence they distributed it too.. After getting done with their airport session, they made their way to Karan's house..

Aai-Baba had left for Teju's house while Mumma and Papa Kundra had too made their way to Karan's house with Veda in his Range Rover while Karan and Teju went in his Rubicon with Omi, who had drives it there..

The atmosphere in the Rubicon was dead silent and Omi being the intelligent one, didn't tried to break the silence off, knowing the whole situation.. Soon they reached and hence went upstairs towards his home in elevator..

Mumma did Teju's grih pravesh here too as it was her first time coming here after marriage.. After that they all sat in the living room for a while, where Mumma informed Teju about her pagphera which would take place tomorrow.. Like as Pratik had some important deal, he had left for Chicago and hence Teju's baba would come to take her for Pagphera and then at evening Karan would come to take her back.. To which Teju nodded and after a while, they all went to take rest as lunch still had sometime..

As soon as Teju entered the room, the nostalgia hit her, reminding her of that dreadful, heart breaking day..

"Just leave..how can you do this haan..tujhe jara bhi sharam nhi aati kya?? Pehle yeh sab karke fir mere pass aati hai jese tu ne toh kuch kiya hi nahi hai...maine tujhse yeh expect nahi kara tha..i never knew Tu itna nicha gir sakti hai Teju...I never knew you can cheat me.." Karan's excusing voice from that day echoed in her ears..

"Sunny,kya bol raha hai tu?? Hua kya hai, yeh toh bata.."  Teju tried to speak but Karan's sharp voice cut off her..

"Kya boln ahai ab tujhe?? Sab toh kar liya?? Ab baki kya hai?? Aur Sunny..Tu ne mujhe Sunny bulane ka haqq kho diya hai..mere naam bhi mat lena apni iss gandi zubaan se.."  Said Karan..

"Sunny,dekh you are drunk,hum na kal baat karte hai subah mai..abhi baat karege na toh baat bigadegi hi..." Said Teju..

"Mai hosh mai hi hun..actually nahi, abhi toh hosh mia aaya hun..All thanks to AANYA,jisne mujhe hosh mai laya teri sacchai dikha kar..So please ab yeh natak bandh kar, aur ja yaha se.."  Said Karan in his anger while a bit drunk..

"Karan, ek baar toh sun le meri baat..let me explain..please sun le..AANYA is manipulating you..she is trying to separate us, we can't let that happen right..sun le please.." Teju begged him for their relationship but seema like Karan had already made his mind..

"Tune na yeh natak bandh kar aur jaa yaha se, mujhe shakal tak nhi dekhni teri.." Replied Karan angrily while breaking a glass jar which made flinch..

"Mami.." Came Veda's voice, breaking her reverie of bad memories..
