• AUTHOR'S POV •

The things had finally fallen into their places.. Teju too was back home and from then everything was going okay and quite good... The couple was as usual deep into their love while waiting impatiently for the arrival of their newborn..

They were as usual hot on the social media, especially after Karan had danced in front of Teju's house, like though they didn't invited any paparazzi but don't know how thay managed to come there and recorded their sweet moment..

And from there, started the rumours about their pregnancy but they kept mum and didn't answer any of them.. But it wasn't a while, when they finally announced about their pregnancy, after their baby shower which was conducted in the whole traditional vibes.. In this modern era, they opted for the traditional ones, which again stole the people's heart..

Announcement of their baby, brought them both positive and negative responses.. It was like their feed was flooded with best wishes and even some negative comments such as they both are together only for the sake of the baby and blah.. But did that mattered to them?? Nahh, not even a percent..

Finally, the moment for which they were waiting from a long was coming nearer... And the passing of time, seemed to be slow to them yet it was filled with mixture of emotions... On one side, they were happy to welcome the baby while on the other side, both were fearing about the pain, Teju needs to undergo.. Though, doctor had even suggested them to opt for ceaser that is C- section but Teju wanted to go for normal delivery.. At first, Karan was bit skeptical about it but then he too knew, that c-section, also have it's side effects.. Like there's no need to opt for operation when you are fully fit to deliver the baby normally..

Teju was now almost a week due, which means,her water can break anytime and hence now it's the time, they need to prepared with everything.. And therefore, here, Karan was busy packing her and his necessities, which they would need in the hospital.. But most were of hers and he packed three pairs of his clothes too, so that ge doesn't need to leave her there alone.. They even had got some baby clothes while Poonam dii and Madhu dii too had sent them some baby clothes of Veer and Veda, as it's good for the new born to wear the clothes which are old like are washed for some two to three times.. And hence, doesn't harm baby in any manner while they all like the soon to be bua's and the soon to be mamu, had sent too many brand new clothes and some essentials for the baby..

After having dinner, they were sitted in the room, with Karan massaging Teju's leg which were quite swollen now a days.. Like from the time she had entered her third trimester, she had been facing many problems like she can't get a comfortable sleeping position, her legs would be swollen, her body would pain and baby's constant movements would make it way too much difficult for her to even sit or eat and what not.. And seeing her endure so much pain for their baby only made him respect her more..

Today, she was awfully silent and seeing her he asked her what happened, though he knew what's bothering her as he too was kinda tensed with the same thing..

"Nothing,just scared about the delivery..You know, that day mumma and aai both were saying about how much it pains when your water starts breaking but without enough dilation,the doctor won't start the process if delivery and hence you need to bear the pain for hours..And that thought is just way too much scary.."

"Laddoo, I know, my saying that am with you won't do anything but we both know how much strong you are, and hence I know you would rock this,the same way you rock in the every task you do..And anyways,am not gonna leave your side so you can hold my hand while that time..And even you know right, that at the end, it would be worth it..So, don't take tension,as it doesn't suits my sherni..you know right, that your bappa would always protect you and anyways he had already sent me to protect you...So you just need to focus on me, like on how to keep me healthy so that i can protect you..So here, madam, just focus on me.." He ended the sentence in much funnier way, they way he made the face saying focus on me only, made her laugh..

And seeing her laugh,his face got adorned with a beautiful wide smile but soon her laughs were converted into the screams which made him worried..

"Teju, kya hua??" He asked worried..

"I think,my water broke..Ahh, mumma, it pains...Aai.." She said with much difficulty as the pain was so much that it brought tears to her eyes while on the other side, Karan panicked so much that while getting up from bed, he almost fell down but somehow managed to maintain his balance..

"Ahh, kya karna hai?? Haan, bag, bag kaha hai?? Teju,bag kaha rakha tha humne??" He blabbered in stress..

"Karan, I would definitely kick you now, here I am in pain and you can't even remember where's the bay..you duffer, that's kept on the sofa itself...bow would you please drive to hospital??" She said getting angry as here she was in pain and he was asking this stupid question instead of seeing that the bag is in front of his eyes..

Taking the bag quickly and helping Teju to get outside and informing his parents about conditions, he left with Teju and Mumma while Papa drove towards Prakash Mansion, that is teju maternal home to pick Aai and Baba as they won't have anyone right now to drive them and Baba is advised by doctor nit to drive owing to his health issues..

Driving to hospital, Karan kept saying Teju to calm down which just flared his anger and then she said,

"What calm down,haan?? Agar ab ek baar calm down bola na, toh mai tumhara sat phod dungi..like really,like father like baby..Dono ko bas mujhe pareshan karna aata hai...Ahh,Mumma it's paining.."

"Teju, bacha, calm down, And Sunny you concentrate on driving.." Said Mumma caressing Teju's hair to comfort her..

Soon, they reached hospital and after like an eternity when she was dilated enough, doctor took her OT where,as promised Karan too accompanied her and after an hour or two, finally the baby arrived while Teju was now tired like hell, almost unconscious but before getting unconscious, she spoke,

"You idiot,you aren't allowed to be even in a metre distance from me..Am not even allowing you to touch me..."

And then finally ahe lost her consciousness but nit before, hearing the doctor's voice, stating,

"Congrats,it's a baby girl.."
